Minor overhaul and change of direction:
Out: Chancellor of the Forge, Insurrection, Soldier of Fortune, Gilded Lotus
, Basilisk Collar, Shattered Perception, Nevinyrral's Disk, Planar Portal, Archetype of Aggression
In: Ruby Medallion, Feldon of the Third Path, Mindclaw Shaman, Reforge the Soul, Reverberate, Squee, Goblin Nabob, Mind's Eye, Ring of Three Wishes, Artisan of Kozilek.
Mindclaw Shaman = Dualcaster Mage when I get my hands on one. I've run the shaman before, and I was continually surprised by how good it wasn't.
Planar Portal came out for Ring of Three Wishes. That extra 2 mana (or 4 total) that I don't have to pay for really makes all the difference. I'll keep tabs on this. I might exchange them and put Planar Portal back in.
I decided to focus on the grave just a little more; more discard effects, as well as Artisan of Kozilek and Feldon of the Third Path.
I also came to a realization; mono-red is bad in EDH. I'm kidding, I already knew that, but I did realize that I'm going to have to work harder to compensate for it.
I needed more card advantage. So I did that.
I added more copy effects. Why? To copy other people's better spells! Leave two mana open and wait for a Cultivate or Urban Evolution to copy. Or draw 20 cards and gain 20 life, or Tooth and Nail.
Chancellor of the Forge sucks. He only worked with Kiki-Jiki. I am changing the focus on the deck more on winning with direct damage rather than attacking. Attacking in certainly an option though. Moonveil Dragon Artisan of Kozilek Malignus and Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre can see to that. All of them are good with Warstorm Surge too.
The deck as it is now will more likely win with Devil's Play + Fork than combat.
Still testing it. Let's see how the new changes work out.
I'm trying to find space for Comet Storm. I am having very little luck with that.
