This Boros Burn Deck was made after hours of research to be a competitive yet decently cheap modern deck that can win fairly consistently.

Pretty much this is top tier Boros Burn without the insanely priced fetches. While fetches are great and hopefully I can rack up $, (hopefully by winning on local modern nights) for some Arid Mesas, right now this deck can run without them seeing as we don't HAVE to have white mana (or even our Boros cards) to succeed.

Burn is exquisite yet simple and you have to learn how to play it with experience.

A quick run-through:

  1. We have this deck chocked full of "Bolts" meaning any 1 drop spell dealing 3+ damage.Lightning Bolt, Lava Spike, Rift Bolt (Suspend Cost), and Thunderous Wrath (Miracle Cost).Next come the 2 drops such as Boros Charm, Lightning Helix , Skullcrack.

  2. Monastery Swiftspear is a great quick aggro creature to get into our opponents life Grim Lavamancer is a great way to use the burned burn cards from the graveyard to deal damage. Eidolon of the Great Revel is a beautiful card that allows us to burn our opponent just for casting low mana cost spells, while we might lose 2 they lose more. He is an easy card to drop if you see a mirror match but this will destroy aggro as well. I am running very few creatures so I can focus on the tempo of the burn and with 4 Path to Exiles and all this burn I'm not necessarily afraid of creatures destroying me.

Sideboard:Tons of Artifact hate with Stony Silence, Wear / Tear (Also great for Enchantment removal), Smash to Smithereens

Combust to help us destroy bigger creatures against stall out control decks.

Anger of the Gods is here to stop Aggro decks.

Finally, Kor Firewalker for the Mirror Match.

I'm very excited to get in to play testing and see how well this deck does. I know it obviously isn't top tier but for the price it is a great semi competitive start to what could eventually grow into a more competitive deck or morph to a Naya burn build. Updates will be coming soon.
