@ NensouHiebara easy swap I think, same effect, can hold equipments, also what Spyrechild said
@ Spyrechild so you're saying Open the Armory is being overshadowed. Like, when it's cloudy outside. XD

Only things that caught my interest form the commander decks.
Easy way to grow out power and remove a blocker. No base stat increase and no keywords is kins off lack luster though.
Makes a body and auto equips, give out commander a nice static buff incase we are swinging in with Halvar.

Spyrechild Unfortunately, I think that for as sweet as the lore/art for Ultima Weapon is, it's too inefficient. WotC committing to the bit to have the buff, cmc and equip cost all be 7's is cute, but it's just a worse Argentum Armor :(
Similarly, Beatrix, Loyal General is a really expensive Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist. Which is a shame, considering how vanilla she is otherwise for the cost

Pro: This alone can uniquely return to hand two equipment in one go, which can be a solid play in the late game. It’s a white source rather than a colorless one. It’s a sorcery and then a land, which means it’s two cards in one? Pretty good value since it can become a land that “drew” you two cards.
Con: Sorcery side seems a bit costly at 5 mana. The land side always enters tapped and will not add to the plains count. What would we cut? Possibly a land like Abstergo Entertainment, Mistveil Plains or a basic Plains? Or maybe our current cheaper/equippable/tutorable/recurrable recursion Restoration Specialist? It’s a tough time cutting cards sometimes.

Looks like something good did come out from the final fantasy set! Cid can repeatedly return equipments in the grave back to hand, can make our equipment cheaper (including the ones he brings back), and can become a threat himself since he has evasion during our turn. I like that his ability can be activated at instant speed, so giving a way for him to untap can allow us to also use the ability on each of our opponent’s turns. He is tutorable and recurrable. Probably would cut Restoration Specialist

NensouHiebara Is Kemba, Kha Enduring really providing much value for you? It looks to be just her and Leonin Abunas that can have her make a cat token. The +1/+1 pump is negligible, IMO. And paying 5 mana to make a cat is also rough.
Thinking the value Cloud provides as both a tutor and a beater makes him a stronger option for the cost. Would also rather keep Open the Armory over Kemba to keep the toolbox going - get what you need, when you need it.

Kemba, Kha Enduring is a go-wide option and another way to get around Colossus Hammer's sky-high equip cost. She's not a super integral part of the deck, so I wouldn't mind cutting her for Cloud.

What about
All that Glitters land tax Esper sentinel
I'd even run sun titan
I apologize, I can't remember how to post cards correctly. I'm an old ass magic player LOL.

Don’t forget Lion Sash! I feel like for Kemba, Kha Enduring, the main focus is to use the free equip that it provides upon entry. Halvar, God of Battle
Flip will allow Kemba to toss whatever equipment that it picked up to Halvar
Flip, or maybe a creature that can attack the same turn Kemba, Kha Enduring came out. It’s nice to have a mana sink when we are flooded.
Paying 5 for a cat seems steep, but if it bypasses any equipment that has an equip cost that is greater than five, then you are profiting mana, especially since we can use Halvar
Flip to move the equipment off the 2/2 and onto something better.
The fact we can use Kemba at instant speed shouldn’t be overlooked too. At the start of their combat, we could easily spawn a cat, equip a sword X and Y onto it, and use it to block their attackers that are colors X and/or Y. Or do the sequence before the opponent enters combat, move that sword onto Halvar
Flip instead if he’s untapped or a better block.
Not sure if this is the cut for Cloud, Midgar Mercenary.

gzusvictory Not suggesting there aren't other synergies (definitely forgot about Lion Sash). They all just feel niche in a way where it's more of a "jack of all trades" card than a silver bullet. The tutor, theoretically, should be able to provide you a silver bullet to the problem(s) you have on the table. I've also found myself in a position where I'm able to blitz down opponents in whatever order presents the biggest threat - usually boardwipes or combo go first, and the rest follow shortly after. There's usually little need to rely on equipping more than 1-2 things at a time to kill a player. Maybe 2 turns each, 3 max. Regardless of commander damage. Plenty of removal being played, just rarely run into doomsday scenarios where Kemba would have been an ideal pull. I'm also playing Naya Equipments, so I have a bigger card pool at my disposal and might have just placed contingencies in other areas of my deck

Pros: Having an extra combat is no joke. If we attach this to our commander along with any equipment that gives at least 2 power, it can one shot if unblocked for 24+ commander damage. It triggers on attack rather than damage, which I like a lot. It works well with Sting, the Glinting Dagger. Genji Glove on its own only applies the extra combat to the equipped creature since it only untaps the equipped creature. If Sting is on another creature, that creature can also join in on the new additional combat made by Genji Glove since Sting untaps every combat. Attack triggers essentially happen twice since we have 2 combats.
Cons: Pretty pricey at 5 mana to cast and 3 to equip though. The double strike is pretty redundant when we are already getting it from our commander Flip. It does not add any evasion or provide any protection. It’s pretty much just raw power. Reminds me of a higher costing Inquisitor's Flail. The flail is cheaper to play/equip and arguably more synergystic with double strike, yet it’s something we already do not run.

I understand your point. Increasing our tutor count can help us address the current problem better than Kemba, Kha Enduring. Looking at the current decklist, Kemba, Kha Enduring is the only other mana sink in creature form, and the fact that it’s tutorable keeps our deck more versatile in the case we have too much equipment/mana and nothing to hold them with. If we stick to removing Open the Armory for Cloud, Midgar Mercenary, it will only improve the deck, but removing Kemba can really swing either way of either really helping or harming the deck.

Cloud being fetchable with recruiter and a target of sun titan is huge in my book. Open is solid but it's time might have come.
