Wanting to break into modern, Birthing Pod is one of my favorite cards. Without breaking the bank this is an attempt to be competitive. Or to durdle. Decisions, decisions. It's really awkward for me to get into without dropping a ton since cards like Deathrite Shaman, which I have four of, are significantly weaker without fetch lands. Murderous Redcap is one of my new favorite cards. I just wanted to let you know. I wanted to play with Green Sun Zenith pretty bad, that was disappointing . I left out Kiki because I'm not a fan of infinite combos and I don't want a fourth color for one card that is triple red.
