The Last Hope beat the hell out of me the other night and I loved every minute of it! That combined with the fact that I've been missing Ob Nix for a little bit means it's time to build a deck for everybody.

The six card transition from XV to get to this build is heavy. The curve crawls up a little bit, but that secretly makes Dark Ritual better. The simplest of the swaps is IOK for another Thoughtseize. Another IOK is out for a main deck Bontu's Last Reckoning.

The two new Super Friends replaced The Abyss and Chains of Judgecall. The Legends Enchantments got cut from the sideboard to make room for the Helmline combo.

The second Totem was a main deck Pithing Needle. The needle was a helpful topdeck much more often than not, but the Totem is always good. Hopefully it helps smooth the curve.

The two new Friends and Totem is are a combine 3 new win-conditions! This makes Bloodghast a little less appealing, especially since I played him without Fetchlands. Night of Souls' Betrayal was one possibility, but it slows down 8 of my 11 threats. I have been wanting to play Empty the Pits for some time now and this might be a good place to start. While part of me feels it might be better in a deck with more spells than permanents, I am sure my board will be blown up semi-regularly.
