The optimal opening hand is Mindcrank and Duskmantle Guildmage plus land. This is the infinite combo and the first win condition. This is you're 2nd win condition combo, The 3rd win condition is the mill mechanic with the various mill spells in the deck and the assistance of Circu, Dimir Lobotomist to control their field and eliminate their kill condition, once you're opponent has a decent graveyard Consuming Aberration and Wight of Precinct Six can walk right on through the Rogue's Passage and right into their life. If the various aggro rackdos decks come up, side in the counter spells and mill them a little slower but more precisely that way.
