I run a Triple Treat Casual Kitchen Table MTG Tournament.

WTF does that mean?

Me and two friends manage an ever growing pool of Casual mtg decks.

  • 60 cards, no ban list. on a budget. We ranked them into leagues of 15 decks each and we make them compete. At the close of the tournament the top 3 decks of each league move up and the bottom 3 move down.

Current League: (position within that League): B (13th) Will be playing in League C next tournament

Note: Kaalia of the Vast 's ability skips the attack triggers and checks of the creatures it puts on the battlefield.

  1. If you put Master of Cruelties on the battlefield as Kaalia resolves, it won't check if it's attacking alone or not.

  2. If you put Aurelia, the Warleader OTB as Kaalia resolves you wont get Aurelia's trigger.

Combo: It's a clunky one but

Play Master Warcraft this will allow you to choose which creatures attack and block as it becomes relevant. Attack with Kaalia of the Vast on attack put Master of Cruelties on the battlefield attacking. Select No blockers. That should result in lethal damage as MoC reduces life total to 1 and Kaalia deals 2 damage.
