Started with /u/ServoToken's list. My first change was taking out the lure elves and adding Shaman of the Pack. Thinking about lots more changes...
Change number two, swapping Quirion Ranger for Elvish Mystic.
Change number three, a couple big bomby creatures in. Craterhoof is obvious. Tarrasque doesn't literally win the game in one swing, but it survives better. To make room for them, the Elvish Visionaries came out. The sideboard is still in flux.
7/24: Minor land changes in the main deck. The whole thing is complete, including the sideboard, at least to the extent that it reflects cards I already own or have ordered; further changes will have to wait until I actually play against another person instead of goldfishing.
7/26: Maindeck: -Wirewood Symbiote, +Elvish Archdruid. When goldfishing I've often regretted having a second symbiote, but more lords and more things to use it on are always good. SB: -Abrupt Decay, +Tajuru Preserver. I'm more worried about All Is Dust than about most other removal.
7/28: Realmwalker out, Eladamri, Korvecdal in. I'm also considering going all creatures based on https://www.reddit.com/r/ModernMagic/comments/1dk6s3c/tournament_report_umori_elves/?share_id=o-LyV3qc4V6LVqoGmjUZe but haven't decided yet.
8/2: 2 Quirion Ranger in. To make room, Archdruid and one Mystic out. Also swapping Pendelhaven for a Forest.
9/7: minor changes to the main deck and moderate changes to the sideboard based on the first FNM with it.
7/8/25: The last FNM I took this to was very disappointing, so I'm making the following changes. Out of main deck: -1 SotP, -1 LCV; into main deck: +1 GSV, +1 symbiote. Out of sideboard: -1 Skemfar Avenger, -1 Essence Warden, -Ezuri; into sideboard, +2 Leyline of Vitality, +Tyvar the Pummeler.
7/9/25: Temporary change for testing purposes: removing 1x Dwynen's Elite and 1x Elvish Mystic, adding 2x Tyvar, Jubilant Brawler. Reverted those edits later that day. Walker Tyvar doesn't help much.
8/1/25: FNM with this deck is still not going well, but I'm not willing to abandon it yet. I'm considering a transformative sideboard. Every time I've sided Grist in, it's been useful and changed the game, but not necessarily enough. So what if I changed it more? See Maybeboard. Caustic Caterpillar would be instead of Haywire Mite, not in addition to; Overlord of the Balemurk is a big threat. Skylasher might look bad but it can block Murktide and Frog indefinitely, maybe even kill frog depending on details, and if it eats a Fatal Push, that's one mana dork that didn't. And meanwhile, whenever my weenies die, Grist's -5 gets bigger and bigger. Thornweald Archer isn't directly related to the transformative thing, but it's still an Elf, can be found with GSZ, and actually kills Balemurk if it doesn't eat removal. Guardian Gladewalker, Masked Vandal, and Universal Automaton, of course, are both Elves AND Insects.
