Vision Charm Discussion

Vision Charm is not modern legal. I suggest two more Thought Scours and two See Beyonds, to help keep resources flowing.

Mind Grind is OK, but this is a late game mill for when you have more land. If you want to keep this, 2-3x max. However, You can quicken the mill with Breaking (a budget Glimpse the Unthinkable). I believe that the paltry $6 increase for this, is well worth it.

That's all I got for now. Good luck!

Shrieking Affliction is worthwhile. There is a deck called 8 rack that uses both of those cards to great effect.

Bump in the Night could be Vision Charm to have modular options. Also could use more Fatal Push Any black deck needs it and you have fetches for on demand revolt.

Cry of Contrition could be Raven's Crime which turns dead lands late game into more discard. You could swap Augur of Skulls for Asylum Visitor. If both people are hellbent, it is free cards. You also have 7 copies of Darkness between MB and SB.

Notes on the sideboard. Hedron Crabs would be replaced for 2 Wall of Frosts when going against less aggressive decks. The Gushes leave most decisions to be made by you, but I would replace 2 AEtherizes for them when going against less aggressive decks. Profane Memento could be swapped for Sphinx's Tutelage If you're going against a deck with few creatures, rendering Profane Memento pretty useless. Vision Charm and Brain Freeze are just in the sideboard because they're cards I find interesting yet not that great in this deck.

One last Idea: Phasing something out with e.g. Vision Charm prevents ETB effects and doesn't cause them to trigger when it phases back in before untapping your permanents. Works with for example Eater of Days, Leveler, Phyrexian Dreadnought, Hunted Horror, Hunted Phantasm, Hunted Troll, Sky Swallower

Another Option for preventing this is Stifle and the like or Torpor Orb

Sorry, if i was too dedicated now :D
