Hedron-titan I'll do my best! I'm not very good at black, but quite proficient with the other colors. I'll pop over and look at it later this evening.

Hey joy, I'm trying to make a deck to wipe out my opponents creatures while still having good defense. I have a deck made with a lot of my good cards. Would you be able to help me make a stable deck that is strong?

Elsha's ability is better because it extends your hand. You have cards in hand PLUS the one on the top of your library that you can play. Even more than one if you play one off the top of your library and then another one you can play shows up on the top. The benefits of having her as commander are #1, an extension of your hand, similar to card draw and #2, Prowess, which allows your spells to buff her power and toughness, and put you in range of killing someone with commander damage (21 points of damage from the same commander). So definitely a good option.
Some people are also running
Kynaios and Tiro of Meletis
as an aikido commander, for what it's worth.

So the way I see it, you have 3 options for a deck that will wipe others' creatures while keeping your own field.
-
Sniping. You can use direct damage from something like Viridian Longbow attached to a deathtouch creature. Something like Poisoned Tip, or How to Make Your Friends Hate You or Swift but Deadly - Ultrabudget $20 Archer Tribal.
-
Fight! You can use fight spells or abilities to have your larger creatures destroy smaller creatures. Something like this Ultra-budget: Bramblewood Fight Club
-
One sided board wipes - So you are going to use a board wipe to destroy all creatures. But you need to make sure your creatures survive. There are a few ways this can happen: Your creatures can be indestructible. Your creatures can all be regenerated. Your board wipe has a condition that allows your creatures to survive like Mass Calcify and all your creatures are white.
So are any of those what you're looking for?

What's my budget for additional cards? That will definitely shape how I cut the deck.
Also, what do you mean "wipe out creatures"? Are we talking about board wipes

Commenting so I'm following and can find this later - looks right up my alley! I'm a huge Selesnya nerd, so I'll see what I can figure out!

Honestly, a 70 card deck is generally speaking not a good idea (from someone who used to play big decks). It will run much more smoothly and reliably at 60. If you're worried about a mill deck, go for 2x Gaea's Blessing and one more forest.
That said, the last ones I cut were 1x Garruk Unleashed, 1x Scute Mob, 1x Savage Summoning, 1x Bellowing Tanglewurm, 1x Ohran Viper, 1x Lure - and fill other 4 with Forests.
And furthermore, it's your fault I built this deck lol. It will never actually see the light of day:

After fiddling with your list all day, I also ended up putting together a deathtouch list that I'd been thinking about - Poisoned Tip, or How to Make Your Friends Hate You. I will never actually build this deck to play with, but it's a fun mental exercise.

Yes, Rogue's Passage gets through a giant Heroes' Bane, a Leige of the Tangle, or a Worldspine Wurm to avoid blockers and hit for all 15. Or just to get those last through points of damage through. It doesn't always work, but on more than one occasion, it's won me the game. It's also something they can't see coming, as it can be used on the turn it's played, and is difficult to remove unless your group uses a lot of land destruction. And there's not a lot of competition for the land slots in a mono-green deck. There's really no reason not to include it, and plenty of reasons to!

So here's the deck I made with cuts: Boi, I say Boi! The Wurms are coming! Hope you find it helpful, but feel free to adjust it more to your taste.

Ok, I'm seeing your ramp package a little now with just having lots of land, (Sakura tribe elder et al) so stand by while I streamline....

So if that's your strategy, then dump a lot of your low cost creatures and build a ramp package. There's two ways I've found that work with that - Elves, or Defenders. As Vectornaut mentioned, the Axebane Guardian , Overgrown Battlement , and Traproot Kami (also can add in Vine Trellis if you need more) ramp package multiplies quickly. A few elves like Elvish Mystic and Llanowar Elves plus Elvish Archdruid (or Karametra's Acolyte for a cheaper option)go nuts fast. Arbor Elf plus ramp land auras like Elvish Guidance can also do the trick. Another option is Gyre Sage with the larger creatures.
Tell me where you feel like going in terms of ramp package, and I'll start making a proposed list for you.

Definitely work on cutting towards 60 cards. I will make suggestions to cut, but I need to know what you like best about the deck, how you want it to play, what other types of decks you often play against. Then I can tailor the cuts toward the strategy you prefer. What cards do you absolutely LOVE? Let me know!

I don't understand how Battlefield Thaumaturge is benefitting this deck, unless you just want the hexproof (so wouldn't a hexproof creature be better?). Most of your creature-targeting spells cost only 1 blue, so the discount doesn't help, unless I'm missing something, which I could be. Would Invisible Stalker be better in that slot? or Karfell Harbinger ? or Surrakar Spellblade ?
