-Sacrifice target creature you control. Add mana of any color equal to that creature's mana value +1. Use this mana only to cast creature spells.

Two of my favorite spells, Energy Tap and Metamorphosis; combined into one.

Repeat this but extra challenge, all combined spells must be the same type and colors. (Exp. all red sorceries or all blue instants)

I am questioning about the lengths of Metamorphosis' special mana. Specifically, can you use Metamorphosis' funny money on alternative costs? More specifically, can its mana be used for either of the costs for spells with Morph? Can the mana be used for Emerge abilities? The Gatherer says that it can be used on additional costs, such as kicker.

I'd say at this point, a lot of these kinds of decisions go down to personal preference, as well as your local meta. For example, I could easily see myself replacing Willow Geist with Soldevi Adnate. However, I do notice a general theme with the cards you listed (I forget; did I use Three Visits at some point?), which is that they're somewhat slow. I've also found the creature restriction on Metamorphosis a bit too restricting.

I love it and hate it.

I think you should cut like half the board wipes. And add cards like Village Rites, Burnt Offering, Deadly Dispute, Altar's Reap, Costly Plunder, Diabolic Intent, Tormented Thoughts, Morbid Curiosity, Mind Extraction, Momentous Fall, Natural Order, Life's Legacy, Eldritch Evolution, Metamorphosis, and last consider Bonds of Mortality. All of these cards pair well with your cmdr. Meaning you'll need less board wipes as you will always have it in the command zone.

Instead of undying/persist which was suggested above, why not go for Vengevine . Thanks to the reprint they are only ~$12 a piece. Play Vengevine , use either Eldritch Evolution or Metamorphosis . If you use Metamorphosis and then cast a creature with the mana from Metamorphosis that will pull Vengevine back into play (assuming this occurs the same turn you cast Vengevine ). May cost a few extra $$ but it would be significantly more competitive and as far as Legacy goes would be quite budget still.

I have a new idea for a deck that utilizes Allosaurus Rider , Eldritch Evolution , and Metamorphosis . It will be mono-green, and will contain plenty of ramp. Any other good card recommendations?
