Lithoform Blight

Enchantment — Aura

Enchant land

Wen Lithoform Blight enters the battlefield, draw a card.

Enchanted land loses all land types and abilities and has ": Gain " and symbol:"T, Pay 1 life: Gain one mana of any colour."

My first thought was add maybe 1 or 2 Nighthawk Scavenger to give a couple more rogues that can close out the game. Something else to consider is utility lands Castle Locthwain and Hive of the Eye Tyrant being the most obvious, though I could see a case for Blast Zone too. Varragoth, Bloodsky Sire could have a place as a tutor.

To really work you need a sideboard, so here are some suggestions;

2x Lithoform Blight (land strategies)

2x Cunning Nightbonder (control)

2x Bloodchief's Thirst (more removal, can hit planeswalkers)

2x Fatal Push (more removal)

4x Duress (for combo or to remve sweepers)

3x Faerie Macabre (grave hate or a rogue at worst)

I should really go through and make a proper description for the deck one of these days. Lithoform Blight is better for me than Fulminator Mage because I can recur it with Lurrus if the opponent happens to have enchantment hate, and it's in there for Tron and Scapeshift match-ups which tend to side in hate anyway. Vanishing Verse is something I've been debating for a good while, but it's definitely going into the maybe pile. Hexdrinker and Tidehollow have been on the table for a good while, but I've never been particularly fond of them for what I'm trying to do. Scavenging Ooze is super strong and used to be in the list's main board actually, but eventually I found myself too green light to be able to sufficiently use him as a mana sink without having to play around too many factors. Nihil Spellbomb has felt way better for graveyard hate in this list, especially with Lurrus being able to bring it back if needed. Granted, he can bring back Scooze too, this is way less color dependent.

As for Kaldra Compleat it's something I've had my eye on from the moment it was spoiled. On the one hand it feels bad that I'll be running a 7-drop when I want Dark Confidant to be good, but on the other hand, it's a 5/5 swinging on T3. I'll be running it somewhere in the list once MH2 drops for sure. Sword of Hearth and Home has also caught my eye, allows for all sorts of flickering in the games where Yorion comes down and it says equipped creature has protection from Path to Exile .

Thank you for the suggestions!

Well I guess I can't read, my apologies.

About the sideboard, maybe Fulminator Mage + Surgical Extraction instead of Lithoform Blight ? And Vanishing Verse for monocolor removal.

Hexdrinker , Tidehollow Sculler , and maybe Scavenging Ooze for the sideboard are all decent midrange creatures as well if you can fit them in.

Rejoice! Lithoform Blight is the new, better Contaminated Ground. replace right away:). In other news, I think more main deck removal is def a must, cards like erebos and vamp of the dire moon are cute, but probably bad, adding main deck pushes or thirsts would be ideal, but if u want to stick on the devotion route then Murderous Rider is a great one. as others have said nykthos is pretty bad here, especially if ur trying to curve into into a quad black card. in the board, Leyline of the Void is miles better than wretch
