This is a black-and-white adaptation of the 'Forgetful Fish' format.

At this stage, it is still a work in progress. The idea is to use Cecil, Dark Knight as a replacement for Dandan, starting a battle around the life points of both players.

Lapse of Certainty is the white version of Memory Lapse. But as it is one more mana I only added two copies and the signature spoell is Healing Salve.

Many scry effects or cards, such as Misinformation or Gravepurge help with top-deck manipulation.

Suggestions are welcome.

P.S. With 14 Scrubslands, this deck should only be played with proxies. However, at this point, the mana base needs to be equally black and white.

Cardchoices Show

Spells:

10x Cecil, Dark Knight : Focus of the Deck. 10 Copies as in the orignal Dandân list.
6x Healing Salve: Signature Spell. Can help keep opponent over 10 life, prevent damage form Cecil's front side to prevent him from flipping, prevent 3 damage from the back side so the oppoent also only gains one life point and most important if any player is on 2 life or below he needs one to be able to flip Cecil.
2x Bile Blight: Helps to chatch up and prevents players from overextending with cecil's in the early game.

PROBLEM:

First player to flip Cecil can erase the Cecil's of his opponent!

2x Dark Betrayal: Mana efficient removal for front side of Cecil.
2x False Cure: A possible soft answer to flipped Cecil of opponent.

PROBLEM:

Changes Healing Salve in Bump in the Night!

2x Gods Willing: Protection with Scry effect.
2x Gravepurge: This is one option for retrieving Cecils from the graveyard. This can be used to retrieve more than one copy, but there is a risk that the opponent may have an instant draw option.
2x Guiding Bolt: Direct Removal for flipped Cecil with addional scry effect. Could be exchanged with Soul Rend
2x Lapse of Certainty: Memory Lapse in white for one mana more. Still a good card for a shared library format.
2x Omen of the Dead: Next recure option for Cecil and the scry effect is also relevant.
2x Misinformation: Can be used to recure Cecvil and also to add dead card on the library for the opponent-
2x Sign in Blood: Draw spell and the possiblity to reduce your own life total. It can also be used to inflict the remaining two points of damage on the opponent.
2x Pitfall Trap: Direct Removal for both Cecil sides but can only be used defensivly. For the player with the higher board state it is a dead card. So this card helps to catch up.
2x Reprieve: An additional soft counterspell. At this point, I'm not convinced by this card. Its use cases are too limited.
2x Unearth: Recure option for Cecicl with instand draw option.
2x Unexpectedly Absent: Direct answer to front and back side of Cecil and normally you draw the card
2x Village Rites:
2x Wrath of God: Chatch up card for player with the worse board state. Fells a bit like a sledgehammer. So if anyone has another idea I would be glad.

Lands:

4x Godless Shrine: In the beginning the life loss is welcome similar to Death's Shadow decks.
4x Caves of Koilos: Same as Godless Shrine.
2x Castle Locthwain: Draw Option and life loss in early game.
4x Temple of Silence: Sry Land. Raised from 2 to 4 from the original Dandân list.
2x Barren Moor: Cycle Land for instant crad draw option.
2x Drifting Meadow: Cycle Land for instant crad draw option.
14x Scrubland: Throughout the whole game, we need a complete mix of black and white mana sources. So no basics at all! With 14 Scrublands, this list should normally only be proxied, but feel free to play it in paper.
