I want to make a deck based off of Nissa, Genesis Mage I really think she has potential I could use some help on what to run i already have some ideas on how to make her turn untap up to 6 mana per turn I would like the deck to be rotation proof and a G/U deck

What do you want Nissa to do for you?

I think you're going to need some ramp, at least, so you can use her sooner.

If the card you're focusing on is 7CMC you will want some Creatures or spells that will let you stall before she hits the board.

Aethersphere Harvester can help with stalling, just make sure you have some Creatures that can Crew it for 1.

Counter spells like Censor, Essence Scatter, and Disallow can also help to stall. You'd be playing Control if you used those, though. That might not be your bag.

Give us a few more ideas on the direction you want the deck to take so we can give you better assistance.

Consider Nissa's Encouragement and Brambleweft Behemoth? Brambleweft is not the best, but Encouragement can tutor for it. It's still a 6/6 trample creature for six mana. Being able to tutor for three different cards including Nissa even from the graveyard for five mana is good.

Gift of Paradise can help to ramp, gain some life and the enchanted land can be untapped with Nissa to make additional mana. Vizier of Tumbling Sands can also be good with Nissa and Gift.

For cheap removal there's bounce options: Unsummon and Winds of Rebuke which conveniently has synergy with Encouragement. Baral's Expertise is a fine mass bounce spell. Rishkar's Expertise could be good with Brambleweft; letting you possibly draw and cast Encouragement for free.

Definitely twoards the ramp direction. Her ult in a creature heavy deck cam summon 7-8 creatures and with cards like Sifter Wurm I can gain a bunch of life or create a 16/16 with Majestic Myriarch. For mana ramp I know that Weaver of Currents is good and when paired with the Nissa so is Oasis Ritualist I'm looking for some 2 drop ramp that can survive a magme spray I don't know what it's called of if it's rotation proof but I know there is one in standard right now I already know about Channeler Initiate and Naga Vitalist finally I want to run Lay Claim I know in a ramp deck that that card can be really good

Also what do you two think do you think this Nissa has some potential I really do I've been taking my current ramp deck to fnm and I have been going 2/2 I know most of the cards in ahmonkhet and HoD but at her revolt and kaledash are unfamiliar to me but I really think her +2 is good and can be used in a lot of ways and her ult is also good but I know most of the planeswalker deck planeswalkers are not that good but I really think this one is playable

All of the planeswalker deck planeswalkers are playable if built around. I think her ultimate is solid, a lot of creatures with enter the battlefield triggers will be a good route to go. The creatures you can get the most value out of this way will probably be gearhulks. I imagine you will want to pick up a second copy of the deck to double up on her, the tutor cards and her specific creature. Guardian of the Great Conduit was in the last nissa deck and it works great. I honestly ran two copies of that one shuffled together and thinned out and took like 3rd at fnm. I revamped it and made a similar build to what others have suggested. Ramp, ramp, ramp. I will spend a little time trying to throw up a rotation proof deck the next few days, what if any color would you be willing to add?

Honestly, I don't think Nissa has potential at the FNM level. She cost too much mana and doesn't do enough for the mana cost. Causal sure it could be fun. That's what I thought you were going for, a fun causal deck with Nissa not a competitive deck you hope to win at FNM with.

I suggest you check out Green Red Ramp which can be a competitive ramp deck in Standard. Although, it's big Eldrazi finishers rotate out of Standard in a month which kills the deck. For now however World Breaker is the best budget option to ramp into. Dinos are coming in Ixalan the next set in a month some will most likely be big high casting cost creatures who could be new finishers to ramp into.

The two drop mana creature who doesn't die to Spray is Druid of the Cowl. There's also Naga Vitalist and Servant of the Conduit, but it requires an energy strategy with Attune with Aether and Aether Hub.

At this point if you want further help it's best to add your deck and then post a link to it here so we can all see it.

I am of the belielf that you can build a deck that will win a few games, and maybe a match or two, around just about any card.

Nissa, Genesis Mage won't make your deck hugely competitive but, if you love that card, it WILL be fun for you to play.

It sounds as though you definitely want to be in colours.

You might also want to consider Nissa, Steward of Elements. If you have big stompy Creatures in your deck she can help you get them out earlier, and she can also help you Ramp.

As suggested above, start building a deck, and we can help you refine it.

I know that it won't be hugely competitive but I just want to prove that at least one of the planeswalker Deck planeswalkers actually has some potiential to be a good card in the right deck I will show you my current decklist soon
