Why Play One Tribe When You Can Play Two

Standard*

masterofseasons

Sideboard

At its core its a wizard deck with a focuse on Naban, Dean of Iteration and wizards with good etbs. Such as double Brainstorm with Riverwise Augur, double tapping with Watertrap Weaver, double bounce with Exclusion Mage double draw with Silvergill Adept and even triple spell casting with Naru Meha, Master Wizard. Every one of our creatures are wizards and besides Naban himself every one has an etb. Considering more than half our creatures are also merfolk we also get to play Silvergill Adept another great wizard with an etb. Naru Meha, Master Wizard serves double duty as not only a wizard lord than can be flashed in mid combat to swing things in our favor but also has perhaps the strongest etb of all allowing us to double or even triple spell. Being heavily merfolk allows us to play Silvergill Adept and being wizards allows for Wizard's Lightning and Wizard's Retort (also known as Counterspell and Lightning Bolt).
