Sideboard

Are you tired of shelling out big money for a mana-base? Are you looking for a deck to break your friends without breaking you wallet? Would you like to build a deck that is fun to play and can take down an FNM? Look no further than mono-green elves. It won't win a pro tour, but it is competitive and fun to play.

This is the tribal elf deck that I have built for modern. I chose mono-green because it is a consistent build with a cheap mana base. I have decided to go down more down the beatdown route by playing two copies of Elvish Champion, four copies of Elvish Archdruid, and two copies of Ezuri, Renegade Leader.

I need to work on the sideboard, but for now I have the following cards-

Beast Within - Used as a catch-all removal spell. It can be used to take out tron lands, destroy artifacts, enchantments, creatures, or any other permanents that get in the way.

Creeping Corrosion - Used against affinity. Can be played as early as turn 3 to wipe their board.

Essence Warden - Used against burn or any decks that try to win the damage race. It is especially good against decks that are creature heavy. If it drops on turn one or two, it is not unusual for it to gain 10+ life.

Lead the Stampede - Used against decks that wipe the board or run Grafdigger's Cage. A lead the stampede usually gets grabs 2-4 elves.

Melira, Sylvok Outcast - Used against infect, which is one of the worst match-ups.

Reclamation Sage - Use against affinity or any decks that play enchantments and artifacts that prevent the elvish beatdown.

Scavenging Ooze - Brought in against decks that use their graveyard or try to win a damage race.

Phyrexian Revoker - Brought in against creature-based combo decks to shut down choice cards.

If you have any suggestions for the mainboard or sideboard, please let me know. I would prefer to replace the non-creature sideboard cards, with creatures that do similar effects. That would enable me to dig them out of my deck with Collected Company and Chord of Calling.
