I made this deck when I was just starting Magic, back around 2012. It was one of my favorites, but when I was low on money, I sold it to a friend for 40 bucks. Since I can make it for under 40 dollars, it's time to resurrect the old Eldrazi. My goal is to create a casual Standard red-green deck.

My goals for this deck: 1. start with the old deck, utilizing colored Eldrazi creatures to create Spawn tokens, rather than Scions. I just like the flavor of the old Eldrazi more, so I'd prefer to base the deck around them. 2. Add a few improvements, but keep the deck itself under $40.00. All new cards will be put in the sideboard for now. 3. Steer clear of ridiculous cards like the titans. I originally had Hand of Emrakul and Pathrazer of Ulamog as my "finishers," so I don't want things to get too much more powerful than the Pathrazer.

Things I'd like to add: 1. The transform cards from Eldritch moon. I REALLY dig the new werewolves from the set (Carpenter's The Thing is one of my favorite movies). I'd like to add them, and have the old Eldrazi create spawn tokens that will help pay their transform cost. Thematically, I imagine the Eldrazi creatures existing as their own entities and transforming the stronger creatures to benefit them. 2. On-theme fun cards. Cards that support the old Eldrazi well, and hopefully seem thematic. I'll take any budget suggestions in the comments. 3. Black? Pawn of Ulamog is pretty nice, and Dread Drone is... ok, but I don't know of too many other reasons to add black to an already functional red-green deck. Let me know what you think.
