Pox type deck that uses Snow stuff for value. 10 Rack with 2 Phyrexian Totems and 4 Faceless Havens alongside a mass of removal. We'll see if I need more, 4 wipes and 12 sacs is quite a problem for most decks trying to go aggro, and that's alongside considerable amounts of discard, including fun possible turn 1s like Dark Ritual into Crime followed by Hymn, or The Rack and Hymn, or even just plain old Liliana turn 1, which always feels good. There is also an old favourite of mine, Dark Ritual into Phyrexian Totem followed by either Innocent Blood or a discard effect, you can even play Liliana turn 2 due to the ramp. I think people should look a lot harder at Phyrexian Totem.
Is 10 racks enough racks? Is it too many? I wouldn't mind replacing Davriel with something more versatile, but I like the combination of damage and discard, on a non-body that opponents will likely be swinging at. Is there enough discard effects? My shockingly brief playtesting suggests this deck will be fun to fiddle with, so we'll see how it works! I like the access to a wipe, but I worry it's going to end up too small to hit key creatures, but it's worth noting you might be able to wipe all but their big creature and just force them to sac it after, it's only 3 for Dead of Winter, easy to play Innocent Blood after, or -2 Liliana.
If anyone else can think of some playable Snow cards, I'd be happy to toss them in. I'm seriously considering some that seem very bad, but there aren't many, but 1/3 of my deck is a 'hit' for Scrying Sheets, and excess land drops can be turned into Retraces, I'm almost tempted to add another colour to the deck to have another Retrace effect, but the two copies seems like a nice happy medium.
ATM I'm starting to consider the card draw package of the deck, I can technically dig out Snow lands, which means I can find one of 4 creature lands or one of 12 Swamps, the Swamps are mostly for Raven's Crime while the Havens tend to be for combat, so do I want more Raven's Crime in here? Do I actually want Sudden Edict in here, at least some of them, to deal with stuff at Instant speed? Would Protection Racket, Phyrexian Arena or Black Market Connections be good in here? I feel like BMC is probably more of a Creature deck card, for use with Whip of Erebos and maybe Bitterblossom, but Arena and Racket both seem interesting, Racket doesn't give cards until you're ahead, but it's hard to argue that hitting an opponent for ~1.6 on average isn't terrible for 2B, and if it ever gives you a real card it's insanely good. I feel like if I'm in a close game, digging out more removal will probably feel good, for my discard to close.
