There are major problems with an exalted deck that prevent it from having a place among other competitive modern decks. But screw that I'm gonna build one anyway.
I've personally found exalted difficult to build around, and this deck has gone through many different iterations. I appreciate any comments to improve this deck. It's a pet deck of mine, but I really hope it can mold into something where I could do pretty decent at FNM.
Here's the function of some cards:
Sublime Archangel- doubles exalted triggers while being a 4 power beater with evasion.
Rafiq of the Many- provides double strike to the beaters.
Geist of Saint Traft- the best beater in the deck exalted triggers before the angel spawns.
Akrasan Squire and Aven Squire- the basic exalted henchmen.
Qasali Pridemage- an exalted creature with artifact and enchantment destruction.
Rancor- creature evasion with recursion.
Curious Obsession- card draw.
Dromoka's Command- creature removal.
Finest Hour- extra combat steps.
Cephalid Constable- bounces opponents permanents, guarantees a victory with a single hit
Birds of Paradise- manaramp to play core beaters like Cephalid Constable and Geist of Saint Traft.
