Freeze your opponents in this winter flavored budget aggro deck
If your opponents are casting hero's downfall on your frost lynxes, you're doing it right. If your opponents are using their seige rhinos to chump your frost walkers, you're doing it right too.
This deck has been tested against Abzan Aggro, Abzan Midrange, RDW, UB Control, and is capable of beating each.
Explanation of Choices:
Frost Lynx - Comes out on turn 3, can tap out your opponents best threat for 2 turns. Surprisingly useful in the deck.
Frost Walker
- Huge damage, trades with expensive cards, and when he gets buffed by Dictate, is a complete boss.
Mardu Hordechief
- Good turn 3 play, gives you a free extra body and has nice toughness. EDIT: Currently Removed
Seeker of the Way
- Gotta love him, if you cast raise the alarm precombat or banishing light, you can get a good +3 -3 swing, and the swings get bigger with your global effects.
Soldier of the Pantheon
- great at busting through or blocking multicolored creatures, and evading charms, etc. Often you want something high powered on turn 1.
Divination/Treasure Cruise - Excellent to refuel, almost always lands something you need, TC gets great when you've lost a few creatures.
Icy Blast
- Completely shuts down the game if you're playing against creatures, and is an instant. If you've got global effects or frost walker, they don't untap.
Negate - Stops walkers, board wipes, whatever else.
Raise the Alarm - Puts troops on the ground. With global effects in play, you get an army of 3/3s or 5/5s.
Banishing Light - Absolute must, always stopping their biggest threat.
Dictate of Heliod - Flash enchantment, +2+2, can be played during combat.. what a terrible card.
Spear of Heliod - Good, but legendary, especially good on defense. EDIT: Currently removed in favor of a 4th Dictate. Dictate is that good.

Crystalline Nautilus
- Can be put in place of frost lynx against creatureless decks for more power.
Disdainful Stroke,
Neutralizing Blast
- Good for when you need more countermagic, can come in to replace things like
Icy Blast
or Frost Lynx when you are playing vs Control decks.
Erase
- An unsure choice here, could be helpful to send anenchantment packing
What to look out for: I'll be updating this, but some of the obvious things are Drown in Sorrow, Crux of Fate, End Hostilities, and to a lesser extent Bile Blight.
Arc Lightning
could possibly be devastating.
What could help this deck? 4x Flooded Strand could help, if you've got any around. You might want to experiment with

+ extra

in the main in place of Raise the Alarm.
