Soldiers had the unique privilege of having both a banneret and a warchief, a boast not shared by any other tribe (at least, not in the same colour.) Two creatures that can reduce the mana cost of your tribe... very interesting. How can we capitalize on this feature?

Kind of like the classic affinity deck, your soldiers can make each other cheaper, leading to such plays as a string of Daru Cavaliers. Soldiers can also cheat out bodies with Preeminent Captain, slow your opponent down with Thalia, Guardian of Thraben and refill your hand with Enlistment Officer. Why, assuming you get a good draw, it should pretty much play like an affinity deck!
