Sideboard

I would just like to preface this with the fact that me and rjphilla came up with this deck, so go check out some of the decks that he has made.

This deck is a Selesnya take on Monastery Mentor. There have been many different kinds of decks that try to use him, but they never really seem to get to the explosive point where Mentor is best. Mentor is a card that is exponential, instead of getting a normal buff like +1/+1, he gets that (half of his prowess trigger) AND then makes a token that also has prowess, so that token will get better has you cast more stuff, but remember that you are also making more tokens that also get buffs and so on, and so on. With this deck the best case-scenario is when you get a turn one Birds of Paradise then a turn two Monastery Mentor. This will help getting to the explosive point of Mentor earlier. Turn three is pretty simple, you just put a bunch of auras on mentor and have a really big threat that they have to deal with and at the same time you have a bunch of tokens that can get big quickly. You can also stack your auras on Fabled Hero cause he has double strike and can decimate opponents if they don't expect it. The thing is that when you stack Hero you don't have the back-up tokens that can help you if he dies, although the totem armors will help with that (and obviously help with saving Mentor too).

I didn't spend much time on the side board but it is mainly for Aggro decks and deck that use Artifacts.
