PILLOWS! And then you get multiple massive leviathans. Or you actually win on turn 5. That's always a possibility.

Hello, this is my first deck I have posted. While I usually make blue and white control decks, I thought it might be interesting to make a deck that focuses on Leviathans and Krakens. It was not long before I found decks that had aspects of what I wanted to do, so I took idea's from them, tried the deck and evolved it. I found that if you didnt draw Ula's, you where toast. I wanted to still stand a chance if I didn't win on turn 4-6. Other decks had scry which is nice, I found there was an unnecessary amount of it. If I lost, it was because I did not draw Ula's. Scry may speed that up by 2 turns, but I found more success in adding pillow fort. (The decks I used are mentioned in resources) Oh and you can play leviathans on turn 3!

I wanted to build a deck that used Quest for Ula's Temple + Stormtide Leviathan (Stormtide is my favourite card next to Supreme Verdict). When I built this deck, I was focused on Whelming Wave and using different Leviathans for different situations. It wasnt long until I learned that there is no beating Stormtide Leviathan or Inkwell Leviathan. I tried adding a lot of draw cards, but the more I added the less likely I would draw a creature when I got Quest for Ula's Temple . So I decided I would make it a pillow fort so that I would have more time to setup. While this deck is reliant on drawing Quest for Ula's Temple , I figured it would make this classic deck more reliable. Dizzy Spell is a huge help, with its miracle transmute.
I have the vast majority of this deck completed (IRL), (I am only missing 3 cards) so I put it to the test. I played against a midrange red and green dragon deck and won by a significant margin. Mostly because I Spreading Seas all of his forest cards to prevent him from playing anything green which allowed draw until I got Quest for Ula's Temple . After that I played Augury Owl (which used to be in my deck) and set up a creature draw. I then used 2 Clockspinning cards to speed up Ula's and played Inkwell Leviathan. Inkwell has island walk and Spreading Seas gave my opponent an island. The turn I played Inkwell he actually managed to play Savage Ventmaw which I used Whelming Wave to prevent a mana caused disaster. Apparently he had Berserkers' Onslaught and Act of Treason in his hand which would have ended in a loss if I played a different Leviathan that did not have shroud.
I would like to acknowledge the following decks for the ideas and cards behind this deck:
