Well i have made my own custom categories before, however I did not know you could list the same card under multiple categories and it wouldn't count an additional copy.

I will just force type sorting from now on, thanks

Pretty good, Clockspinning is a huge help for the counters on squid mission though.

Also Grozoth. You can search for every Inkwell Leviathan you own.

Commander is a singleton format meaning that you can only have one of every non basic land card.

Only one copy of any card, except basic lands

Generator Servant is in the list twice

You can make use of the Banishing Lights that are still on the field as they would count towards Sphere of Safety as well as a creature if used with Starfield of Nyx my friends hate me for doing it, but it is undeniably powerful.

Narset Transcendent is free draw and is rather cheap for a planeswalker

Oh man, Sphere of Safety is your best friend!! Its effect stacks and is a much better card than Ghostly Prison if you are running more than 8 enchantments.

Also Lightmine Field, Detention Sphere, Suppression Field is a great sideboard and Starfield of Nyx adds a win con.

Fog Bank is another great friend, but if you bring enough Detention Spheres and Banishing Lights no one can touch you.

Then, throw a Monastery Siege and a Open the Vaults. The graveyard fun is a huge help if you have Starfield of Nyx. (You can also choose dragons for some protection if fighting burn.) Maybe a Omniscience if you can afford it.

One last thing, I almost forgot!! If you are doing lifegain, there are two cards you cant do without. Beacon of Immortality and Felidar Sovereign.

Some hexproff might be nice at least on sideboard. Aegis of the Gods

I will leave the rest to you, it seems like your getting it now. Ask if you need any more ideas.

December 4, 2017 10:57 p.m.

Its looking better already though!

Gisela, the Broken BladeBruna, the Fading Light

Archangel of Tithes isnt as good as the card Ghostly Prison.

Raise the Alarm would be a huge help and might actually make this viable.

Entreat the Angels could be considered. Nice thought on Terminus, I would main board it though.

Ultimately, you should think of including another color in this deck. Its just too hard to do with only one color. You could also think of adding in humans if you wish to maintain the mono white. Its just not really possible without holding out for turns. You need one of the following for viability.

  1. You add in red and make use of cheap red creatures to hold out until you cast angels.

  2. You add in cheap mana cost white human cards to hold out until you cast angels.

  3. You add in green and add in creature mana as well as ramp. Avacyn's Pilgrim

  4. You add in blue and ton of enchantments to hold out

Those are pretty much your options.

December 4, 2017 10:48 p.m.

Mana ramp is considered to a green staple. Other colors have little for ramp. I make use of Azorius Cluestone and other clustones as well as Chalice of Immortality both of which are modern legal.

You could also think outside the box and go for Plasm Capture.

As for green Explosive Vegetation is a favorite.

You could make use of Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx which is another that I use in my angel deck.

Those are all the game types sol ring is legal in. You may notice that modern is not listed.

December 4, 2017 10:35 p.m.

They are viable, but you would definitely need to slow down the game to get there. The cards are banned because they give too much mana ramp. Someone could play huge cards really early, and that is not fair to the lower mana cost decks. I have an enchantment angel deck that I use, making use of 4 Oblivion Rings and 4 Journey to Nowhere. Without it you would be murdered before you get creatures on the board.

If you wanted to pursue this, you could adopt my strategy with lots of enchantments. Removal to make CREATURES!!

Alternatively, you could add in red and run low cost creatures to protect you in the early game. You could also add in some red and white angels, there are quite a few of those.

Although seeing your strategy it seems like you appear to be quite new at this. Most of these creatures are really, really powerful, but both costly in the wallet and in mana. Usually people include 2-4 angels at most because if you where to get a few angels on the battlefield you would likely win anyways.

December 4, 2017 10:33 p.m.

If you look in the bottom right corner, you may notice a list of banned cards. The cards that are banned in this format (modern) are: Sol Ring, Thran Dynamo and Swords to Plowshares. (These are pretty much commander only cards)

As for a replacement for Swords to Plowshares try Journey to Nowhere or Oblivion Ring.

Might I recommend Defy Death? Also, I would recommend an Akroma, Angel of Wrath and Luminarch Ascension for an additional win con

Said on If I cast ......

#17

Say I cast Star of Extinction and then i cast Hallow on it while there was 5 creatures on the board. Would I only gain 20 life or would I gain 100 life?

Said on Can I Prevent ......

#18

So say I cast Story Circle, name red, activate it and play Star of Extinction.

Would it prevent all damage to everyone, or just damage to me?

Thanks

Also Kiora is great as she can untap a Kiora's Follower as well as a land making it alot easier if you have a Liquimetal Coating in a Prototype Portal or anything in a Prototype Portal for that matter.

November 29, 2017 12:43 a.m.

I suppose that's true, although those Progenitor Mimics really go nuts with the Paradox Haze. I suppose Creeping Mold or Naturalize would both work for removal with Liquimetal Coating so I will include Creeping Mold for removal and additional land destruction. I wouldent consider Counterspell but I might consider Plasm Capture.
