I want to be that guy. You know, the one who builds the standard deck around the unplayable Mythic that was clearly meant for Commander. Well here is my version of an Axis of Mortality, Enjoy!

The purpose of the deck is to play Gideon of the Trials and ult him. Then in response to your Axis of Mortality Trigger, pay all of your life with Adanto Vangaurd or Glorifier of Dusk, then trade with your opponent and instantly kill them. I built this deck with a transformative sideboard because I couldn't decide between an aggressive deck or a slower version so if you take out: - Ruin Raider - Vicious Conquistador - Legion's Landing - Queen's Commisionand put in the sideboard (I haven't decided what the other 5 sideboard cards will be yet) you get the slower version (I can't seem to get categories to work, I'm guessing its because Ixalan isn't entirely uploaded yet so hopefully I will make this part shorter at a later date).

Important to note, to win the game in this way, you NEED to be at an EVEN lifetotal and if you are winning with Adanto Vangaurd you NEED to be at a lifetotal divisable by 4 (4,8,12,16,20,24,ect.). You can use the various lifegain cards to carefully craft your lifetotal so that you can actually win. Just remember that any odd number plus an odd number is an even number (which is why most of the life gain effects gain odd amounts, so you can make sure you stay even) and if you are at an even lifetotal that is not divisible by 4 you need to gain an even amount of life not divisable by 4 (2,6,10,14,18,ect.), this is the primary purpose of Sanguine Sacrament Because it only gains you even life.

BUT, you can also win by setting them at one then making them lose one life, I guess, if you really need to.
