Shame on you for using Frontline Medic

Shame on you for not using Thatcher Revolt

Also, i'd ditch the Experiment One in this deck... the only thing you can evolve him with a second time is Frontline Medic and the occasional Flinthoof Boar ... and thats if you have a mountain when you play him... and thats IF you have an Experiment One on the field when you get one of your 3 Flinthoof Boar s onto the battlefield.

This is the reason i do not run any of them in my deck, too many "I need this, so this becomes worth while." The Kessig Townshipis my deck and I've developed the fastest naya human deck in standard. Turn 3 wins are regular, and if this is your goal... judging by the mana costs / creature choices you have listed... i strongly suggest you at least take a glance at my build. I've been developing it since innistrad, studying each and every new potential card to benefit the speed of it.

You can build this copy deck however you want, however, i strongly urge that you run playsets (4) of the following cards.

Champion of the Parish

Mayor of Avabruck  Flip

Burning-Tree Emissary

Lightning Mauler

Do that, and you'll find your attacks to be much more powerful.

Shame on me?..hey chill out man.

I tried out your deck and I have not have gotten a turn 3 win as you claim nor have gotten the setup for one in over 12 games..Its always turn 4 mostly 5..

The chances of getting a turn 3 win are slim because you would have to have the perfect starting hand in order to do so granted they haven't taken out Champion of the Parish by then.

Yes Thatcher Revolt is indeed a good card and will take it into consideration

I have already maxed out all the cards you listed and they don't do well end game except Mayor. Especially if its against creature destruction decks like Jund.

I am speaking from personal experience for using both decks and yes I did use your deck in some FNM's and I must say its a good deck I'll give it that, but its no better than mine or anyone else's Naya blitz deck...reason why this deck isn't getting ranked up is because there is way too many of them on this site as it is.

Yes you have great ideas for improve the deck but a lot of them require the perfect hand which is not the best of things do to...Mine is more built to compensate if you don't get that good hand and offer a possible turn 4-5 win.

Don't call me a man :3

I wasn't saying all of that to force changes on your game-play, just suggesting things that have worked for me. Everyone plays differently, its not always "Tap and Swing" with aggro decks, there is a lot of set up involved, and knowing when to go in. With the deck I play, i have grown accustomed to how it can work well, and how it doesn't work well.

Its true my deck is an "all or nothing" blitz, and i usually flop against decks that are built to withstand it, however, it does work more often that you assume. I'm merely stating that a kill-em-all deck like jund isn't going to give a hoot about lesser creatures like humans... so to counter that, being faster than they can handle is the best route.

In my countless experiences playing against jund, If i miss a few creatures early, it becomes very very difficult to come back. So i run the maximum number of the creatures i listed above, to, out of nowhere, drop a few spells for a 15 damage burst when they don't expect it. One card that seems to be irrelevant against jund is Frontline Medic .

Sure, its ability works against a lot of the cards in jund, like Rakdos's Return or Bonfire of the Damned . However, in most cases, you'll never want to lose any creature for any reason. This is why I do not like Frontline Medic . The indestructible in combat is almost pointless against control decks, as they will kill your guys before combat, or on their turn. And that ability only triggers if they allow you to have 3 creatures on the field.

This is also why i prefer to use Thatcher Revolt . Its an auto-battalion trigger and can turn either your Champion of the Parish into a monster, your Boros Elite 's into monsters, and with a Mayor of Avabruck  Flip , it is suddenly a lot to handle. If they chump block, your guys are going to die anyway, and it serves as a removal spell.

Just to get the record straight, I was saying "shame on you" in a lighthearted way, not throwing anything at your crotch. I wanted you to defend your reasoning to using Frontline Medic , even Flinthoof Boar and Experiment One in this deck. They are not in my list for reasons, I would just like to know yours, or if you understand why everyone is doing it. (because they just copy the blitz decks)

I see, Thanks for clearing that up.

I quite understand where Thatcher Revolt is going to do and its preety sweet. I can replace either Flinthoof Boar or Experiment One for it.

I use Frontline Medic for both its sacrifice against X ability and its Indestructible ability when your swinging all in on a possible turn 4 or 5 win with Silverblade in the mix or not.

Flinthoof Boar is for when I go up against creatures made to go against Humans like Stromkirk Noble

Experiment One is another human I can use for the champ and as a alternative Turn 1 and use its evolve ability and possibly have evolve to a 4/4 creature granted its most of the time its 3/3

I will plan on using Thatcher Revolt depending how well I do with this build at my local FNM and how the metagame changed over the past week.

Do not take out Flinthoof Boar or Experiment One for Thatcher Revolt . If anything, you need to increase the amount of both in your deck.

Aggro is going to run into problems against midrange, that's just a given. Thatcher Revolt might be a solid choice for your sideboard. It functions as a Lingering Souls for this deck, since you don't have access to black mana.

I would:

-2 Frontline Medic
+1 Flinthoof Boar
+1 Experiment One

-2 Gruul Charm
+2 Thatcher Revolt

If fliers are really giving you problems, Thunderbolt might be the stronger choice. And as crazy as this sounds, if you're still having problems finding room in your deck, consider taking out Rancor . Sometimes you just need more creatures and removal. Rancor can lead to some serious losses in tempo when they just shoot your creature it enchants every turn.

That's a good Idea I can always replace the Gruul Charm with Thatcher Revolt .

But sadly this is a metagame thing and over here it can change within a week at least.

I can think of a compromise like

-1 Frontline Medic

+1Flinthoof Boar

OR

+1 Experiment One

But I digress, while they are really good Ideas It does come down to how I do this week at FNM to see the state of the Metagame and where my current build stands with it. The store I go to is constantly growing and is a site for a PTQ event in August which is why its constantly changing each week rather than bi-weekly or monthly.

If people are prepping for a PTQ, you can expect a lot of Wolfrun Bant, Junk Rites, and Naya Blitz. Those are the three decks to beat in Standard right now. While Midrange is good (whether it's Junk, Naya, or Jund Midrange), it just isn't popular due to Junk Rites being stronger vs. control and aggro.

My meta is similar. We have a lot of less experienced players show up at FNM who play a plethora of decks, but all of our players who make top 8 consistently are playing Bant or Rites.
