Moneytalk, Treasure deck

Standard Budget Control U/B (Dimir)

Fenice86

Description

"Nothing personal, just business my friend"

So this deck is obviously for fun and it's meant to work around Revel in Riches and Marionette Master to win.

Everything here is aimed at generating Treasure artifacts and control the opponent meanwhile.

The deck has evolved a lot in the last days and after the first Standard Showdown so here are the changes:

Skittering Heartstopper has left the deck for good, it was useless. Revel in Riches is quite a slow wincon, i didnt have the chance to play around Mechanized Production yet.

Chart A Course removed in favor of Opt and added a few Contraband Kingpin as blockers and to scry

Discovered a new wincon in Marionette Master: it can win you the game as soon as it drops if you have 5 treasures on the board (or 4 if you inflicted at least 4 damage to your opponent). Added more counters (Essence Scatter, Negate, Metallic Rebuke) in place of Heartless Pillage

Removed a couple counters to add back Dire Fleet Hoarder along with Panharmonicon which basically allows us to win the game with only 3 treasures on the board when Marionette Master comes into play

Sailor of Means works well with Siren's Ruse granting us both card's advantage and additional treasures

When things go south we have Bontu's Last Reckoning and 6 counters to make sure it's gonna work, last but not least we got removals Walk the Plank, Spell Swindle can win us the game in 1 turn if played right.

Bontu's Last Reckoning and Spell Swindle are insane at filling our wincons while keeping our opponent at bay at the same time.

Vraska, Relic Seeker is really versatile, all of her powers are equally good for us in this deck

Hey thanks for the link. I think Contract Killing is better than it initially looks, with a revel in riches on the board it kills a creature and gives back 3 treasure. I haven't had chance to play test my deck yet as I'm waiting on some of the cards in the post. I'd definitely keep Deadeye Plunderers in, simply because of the size of some of the Dinos that you'll come across.

They are both good for sure but they also cost a lot of mana, thats why I didnt include em but instead deal with those using counters and removals
