Really fun Boros combo deck using big spells like Shivan Meteor, Blasphemous Act and Kindle the carnage on Boros Reckoner, Spitemare, Stuffy Doll, Mogg Maniac or the Swans.
The deck was originally modern, but I'm using it casually and added Mogg Maniac for fun.
"DRC" will refer to all "Damage Redirecting Creatures" such as:
Boros Reckoner, Spitemare, Stuffy Doll and
Mogg Maniac
.
Playing Kindle the Carnage with Swans and a DRC on the battlefield is a crazy combo which can draw your entire deck and redirect tons of damage to your opponents.
Volcano Hellion can win immediately if you have a DRC in play and more health than your opponent. It also grants infinite life if you soulbind it with a Nearheath Pilgrim in play.
Boros Charm + DRC + Nearheath Pilgrim = infinitely redirecting damage into itself for infinite hp.
Blasphemous Act usually wins the game with 2 DRCs in play.
Pariah, Angel's Grace & Worship can also help you do some crazy damage without dying.
Recent changes:
+4 Mogg Maniac -3 Spitemare +1 Stuffy Doll (Cheaper, powerful, fun. Not modern legal though)
+4 Lightning Bolt -2 Chandra's Defeat -2 Ajani's Presence (Bolt + Soulfire <3)
Maybe add more Pyrohemia/Volcanic Fallout? Chandra's Defeat is pretty great too.
Currently playtesting with 22 lands instead of the recommended 23!
