This is my idea of a standard combo deck. Enjoy!
Kiora's Follower goes great with:
Dakra Mystic
Mercurial Chemister
Bow of Nylea
And also helps with the mana.
As you might have understood by now, this deck focus a lot on card draw, which is why Chasm Skulker is here, and as I can draw a lot of cards, I also want to be able to play them freely. to help with that, I have Prophet of Kruphix.
He is rather Essential as he untaps the creatures that gives me card draw and gives my creature spells flash. This i a great benefit against control decks as I now can play in both of our turns, meaning that they will run out of mana and cards to counter with before I run out of mana and creatures to cast.
Izzet Charm gives even more card draw but is also very diverse, helping with stopping annoying noncreature spells and slowing down aggro decks with its 2dmg burn ability.
Stormbreath Dragon and
Dakra Mystic
ought to have their own fan-fiction, because those two together makes me all warm and fuzzy inside -
Keranos, God of Storms was obvious here as he either gives an extra card per turn or bolts for 3dmg.
When Chasm Skulker is all nice and fat, Thassa, God of the Sea can help it break through the enemy's defenses for the silly cost of 2 mana!
Xenagos, the Reveler, here to give some extra mana and help with aggro/anti Aggro support!
But the real saviour of this deck is
AEtherspouts
. Doesn't matter if it's early game or late game, when I pop this sucker, it's usually a one way road to unstoppableville for me as I by then will keep spinning out of control before the opponent gets his/her chance to re-gain momentum.
Opportunity is always nice to give that extra card draw, and if you like to play ballsy, you can always end-step it on your opponent to give that extra booming from Stormbreath Dragon ;)
