What happens when you take two of your friends deck concepts (A 12-post sphinx deck and a Mycosynth Lattice - March of the Machines combo deck) and merge them into something new? You get the dragon tyrant of ultimate thievery!

Hellkite Tyrant and Mycosynth Lattice are the deck's centre pieces. Hoard-Smelter Dragon and Shattering Spree also work as back-up plans (As once lattice is in play, all your mana can be red).

The Maybeboard helps point the deck in other potential directions. Ethereal Usher might work as a combo piece tutor, if you can more easily overcome it's double blue transmute cost (perhaps with Cascade Bluffs).
