So i've recently gotten back into MTG, haven't played since Champions of Kamigawa. Needless to say i'm a bit out of practice and way behind. So since i've been playing (over the last month or so) i've been playing with this idea. Getting Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons out along with the Decimator Beetle and the Channeler Initiate to cycle -1/-1 counters and create snake tokens, not to mention the enumerous insect tokens created from Nest of Scarabs.

So bottom line is that I'm looking for some guidance on this one as i'm sure there are better cards to utilize, and even ones that are in the current standard blocks which can be utilized. Thoughts?
