Sideboard

Hello and good day, people.

Today I'd like to talk about my current pauper-project.

In a very straightforward way, the deck tries to either go wide via tokens that you buff via Rally the Peasants or Scourge Devil, or go big via a Seeker of the Way that you sneak by your opponent's blockers with protection.

Lifegain from your lands, the Anointer Priest and your creatures with lifelink should keep you alive for long enough to pull this off. And in case that's not enough, you have your Prismatic Strands to fall back on.

The deck is set up in a way that allows for most of its cards to be re-cast from the grave, virtually turning all looting outlets into pure card-advantage. Thanks to the high amount of hand-optimization, few bad hands actually stay bad.

And even if you run into a puddle of lands, you can either cycle them, discard them for you Tormenting Voice or Faithless Looting, or use them to retrace Cenn's Enlistment over and over again.

The sideboard is fairly standard - Gorilla Shamans to wreck artifact lands; Flaring Pain to dodge Fogs; Electrickery to weed out elves, goblins or faeries; Lumithread Field to survive Shrivel; some Standard Bearers to absorb enemy buffs & auras; one extra copy of Prismatic Strands against quick all-in decks like Infect, Kiln Fiend, or Tireless Tribe and Patrician's Scorn to clean it out aura-decks.
