The power of MUD (Mono blue devotion) was thought to have died after the recent rotation, but, with new cards from fate reforged, it is easy to argue that it could be viable in standard. Here is how the deck works.

Frost Walker, Vaporkin, Hypnotic Siren,

these are all the early game creatures that this deck runs. the fact that the deck runs 7 two drop elementals makes it incredibly hard to deal with once you have a Master of Waves or a Obelisk of Urd in play.

Master of Waves, Thassa, God of the Sea, Clever Impersonator

these guys are the midgame. thassa and master are of course staples, but the impersonator is a bit different. the impersonator allows for you to copy things like elspeth when your behind or even things like ugin in the future for only 4 mana. this lets you get big value for less.

Military Intelligence, Bident of Thassa, Obelisk of Urd, Dig Through Time, Treasure Cruise, Dissolve, Negate, Monastery Siege.

all of these cards are known as the "engines". they are all utilities use to either hamper your opponent or boost yourself. they allow for the cogs to turn giving you card advantage, bigger guys, and with the siege, a way to deal with control (kinda).

Pearl Lake Ancient

this guy is the latest game last resort win condition, especially against control. making this guy unblockable is 6-7 damage to the face on average. it is usually enough to close out the game.
