Standard Aggro Competitive FNM Mono-Red Red Deck Wins

Sideboard

This deck is a classic RDW. With the discard mechanic showing up in the meta we can abuse some nice red card spells wich have a downside in discart, such as Lightning Axe and Tormenting Voice.

Axe becomes a 1-mana removal for 99% of creatures on standard (including the goldBUTT castigator) that also reduces the cost of our fiery temper or even cast some vampires with the help of Falkenrath Gorger.

Tormenting Voice becomes a 1 for 2 draw, with the same boosts mentioned in Lightning axe.

Falkenrath Gorger is a Killing Machine. 1 drop 2 power No downsides

Ravenous Bloodseeker is another discard source and can be very annoying combined to a fiery impulse, adding 5 damage with a single mana.

Insolent Neonate took the place of Village Messenger. I lost the haste, ok, but got menace that showed up very usefull on mid/late game. Also it can enable madness and replace itself with the draw effect. And vampires are better than werewolves! (:

Fiery Temper and Exquisite Firecraft are good creature removals but can help to rush your opponents life to 0 even faster. Are really good finishers too.

Titan's Strength helps with the damage but the scry is very important too. Improving the chances of a good draw.

Incorrigible Youths has a nice body and can damage really fast as you can cast it by madness on turn 3 and hit with haste. But only 2 copies too, because its cost is very high if an oppponent manage to control my discard sources (duress for axe and voice or removing the bloodseekers...)

Reckless Bushwhacker and Scab-Clan Berserker: Surprise bombs to speed up the game one, granting an important win, especially against control decks.

And finally, the cards that make this deck a real threat.

Abbot of Keral Keep and Sin Prodder

Both grants card advantage and lots of damage.

Prowess and Menace are keywords that opponents fear when facing an Aggro deck, especially because a 1 mana removal can make Abbot Stronger while makes Prodder Unblockable.

Sin Prodder also has a good interaction with your opponents mind, forcing him to make hard decisions and making him nervous each time he makes a wrong decision, rising the chances of a missplay.

~~Sideboard still changing a lot, to fit the local meta

Stensia Masquerade: The First Strike helps me to deal with that many tokens we are seeing in the new meta.

Fiery Impulse: Against Aggro decks and Jace-Control decks, easyly removing things for one mana. Also removes almost everything from Mono White Abbey.

Scab-Clan Berserker: Side against control decks.

Smash to Smithereens: Pyromancer Googles.

Skin Invasion  : Very good when I need to remove lots of blockers. It's not that good to use it on my own cretures, because opponents may kill the creature in response, but it's still an option. And the combo Insolent Neonate + Skin Invasion + Fiery Temper is really nice! 3 mana for a 3/4 creature, 3 direct damage and a draw.

Dual Shot: Helps me with to deal with the tokens. It's better than avacyn's judgment because of the instant speed and because I don't have enormous amount of mana to use Judgment as a finisher or big creature removal.

Act of Treason: One of my favorite's Magic Card! The surprise effect that this card represents makes it very decisive in some matchs. Also, its very important in my local meta because I need to deal with a Kolaghan Control and 6 bonus damage with a blocker less helps me to win close matchs.

Here is my friend's deck, which won a couple of FNM's before the rotation.

Disrok's Kolaghan Control

Updates Add

I tryed to make my deck faster, and it worked!

This FNM we had 11 players, much more than we usually have.

I did 3-1, getting the 4th place, just lost a match for a Temur Ramp.

~~

1st match - 2-0 grixis control

First game I let his life on range of burns, but the burn didn't want to appear. I waited for about 8 rounds, just drawing lands or creatures that were removed as entered the battlefield, but after waiting a lot, I got that Exquisite Firecraft that I was waiting.

On game 2 he cast his sided Kalitas on turn 4, but I burnt if at my turn 4, after this, I played my sided Scab-Clan and continuously hit him with 2~3 creatures. He tryed to hold me with a Dragonlord Silumgar but I managed to finish his life with burns too.

~~

2nd match - 1-2 Temur Ramp

3 close games.

I took game one with an epic play that I'll always remember.

turn 4 ~ 3 avaliable mana, hit with 2 abbots and a Sin Prodder. He plays a Kozilek's Return.

In response, I cast an Lightning Axe targeting my own Sin Prodder, and discarding a mountain. In response to my axe, I cast another Axe targeting the same Sin prodder, this time, discarding a ravenous bloodseeker. Stack resolves, 2 Prowess Triggers, Abbots survive the Return and hit for 8.

On game 2 he played 2 Jaddi Offshoot too early and I couldn't do anything as he played a Worldbreaker and Flipped a Nissa too early.

On game 3 we had a very very close game. I took hi to 1 life, but he cast a Nissa's Renewal Followed by an Dragonlord Atarka that gave them the win.

~~

3rd match - 2-1 Bant Company

Hard games. Nothing that I didn't expect. To much blockers, lost game 1.

Side helped a lot, Magmatic chasm lead me to the victory on game 2.

Game 3 I kept a hand with 1 Magmatic Chasm, but he Lacked of lands and I didn't even needed the chasm.

~~

4th match - 2-1 BWc Eldrazi

Hard games too, but I managed to remove all the Displacers on 2 of the 3 games, and that was decisive for the win.

Burns helped a lot here too
