This was my first KTK draft and based on reading and sealed experience related to the set I decided to go for a 2-color deck, preferably using enemy colors to maximize possibly with a splash, with the goal of aggroing and punishing slower, greedier strategies. P1P1 was a Herald of Anafenza in part because it was one of the best cards in the pack, in part because I love white and this card in particular, and in part because making Weenies could be part of my preferred strategy. After that I prioritized removal which kept me in White and moved me into Black. P2P1 was Wooded Foothills because, duh, fetchland, but also perfect for my splash to Mardu or Abzan. P3P1 was a foil Rakshasa Deathdealer (vs Crackling Doom) which was a difficult choice but I slightly favor Abzan in general, had already picked up 1 or 2 good Abzan cards, and a foil Rakshasa is slightly better value. By the end of the draft as mentioned I had a few sweet Abzan cards, such as Abzan Charm, but I decided to only splash for the Rakshasa (supported with the fetchland, a Blossoming Sands, and 1 Forest) to minimize greed and maximize consistency. I went undefeated in the tournament, both in terms of games and matches. I quickly got out small but significant threats which got in early damage, then as large/gold threats hit the board I removed them with direct removal and combat tricks, and/or I went wide and ended things with Rush of Battle. Getting in 2-damage hits with morph bluffs was also not insignificant.
