Ajani lifegain +1 counter themed modern deck, this is version eleventeen or something. The idea is to synergy the life gain and +1/+1 counters to make a powerful mid-range aggro deck. Ajani's Pridemate + Blooming Sands, Ajani's Pridemate + Essence Warden , Ajani's Pridemate + Blossoming Sands provide potential monsters.

Ajani, Valiant Protector + Ajani's Aid should ensure that I get out a Planeswalker to make the deck tick, but each Planeswalker has deck synergy.

The win condition is trample. Supplied by Ajani's Comrade , Ajani, Valiant Protector and most importantly Tuskguard Captain . Roar of Challenge creates a faux trample affect.

Abzan Battle Priest and Essence Warden should keep my life gain pretty steady. Heroes' Reunion and Divine Offering can be cycled in to add to this as needed.

Narnam Renegade gives me a cheap drop that can provide good early defense thanks to death touch and brutal offense if it survives long enough to accrue counters.

Hardened Scales will obviously make things better for me.
