I wanted to test out this deck without the mentioned change and ended up going 2-2.
Round 1 vs The mirror: won 2-1
Game 1: my opponent dropped an unanswered AEtherling and without a way in my deck to stop it it beat my face in.
Game 2: opponent was mana screwed and I dropped an Elspeth, Sun's Champion with no responses I made plenty of tokens and animated Mutavault with an elspeth emblem.
Game 3: was the toughest match up. I had 2 cards in hand to my opponents 4 I reved (Sphinx's Revelation) at the end of my opponents turn for 7 and he tapped out to counter. My turn dropped AEtherling for the game.
Round 3 vs mono red beats won 2-1:
Game one: opponent dropped a 1/1 heroic guy on turn 2 he played
2 Titan's Strength hitting me for 9 I could recover fast enough as he had other 1 drops to finish me off.
Game 2 and 3: sided in my fiend slayer Nyx-Fleece Ram and Last Breath both game 2 and 3 he managed to get me down to 13 life by turn 4 but Supreme Verdict did the trick and with my opponent not having a hand I came back with fiend slayer to win
Round 3 and 4 vs pack rats:
These she's ended the exact same way I could draw the correct mana combination to Supreme Verdict and my opponent out paced me.
This Friday I will move 1 AEtherling to the main and 1 Planar Cleansing to the side
