Replacements —May 5, 2015

I've made these replacements:

+ Retribution of the Ancients / - Vish Kal, Blood Arbiter Much lower mana cost and serves the same purpose.
+ Martyr's Cause / - Healer of the Pride Can protect me, and my creatures, and stops voltron commanders easily. Also serves as an additional sac outlet.
+ Butcher of Malakir / - Mephidross Vampire Mephidross only really shined with Trisk, so Butcher is a much better choice.
+ Fanatical Devotion / - Triskelion Provides a sac outlet, and protects my important creatures. Trisk had already lost his buddy Mephidross anyway.
+ Return to Dust / - Revoke Existence Remove twice as many artifacts/enchantments, and can be used at instance speed.
+ Kor Haven / - Plains Some added protection.
+ Shizo, Death's Storehouse / - Swamp Doesn't enter tapped, and makes it easier to hit with commander damage.
+ Martyr's Bond / - Sorin, Lord of Innistrad Sorin didn't really do too much for the deck, while Martyr's Bond is a replacement for Grave Pact, etc, and provides some board wipe protection.
+ Sakura-Tribe Elder / - Sylvan Caryatid Sakura can trigger Grave Pact, etc. and land is less likely to be removed than a creature.
+ Ob Nixilis, Unshackled / - Lumberknot Combos nicely with Fertilid and is a much bigger threat than Lumberknot for only 2 more mana.

Thinking about these replacements:

+ Deathrite Shaman / - Ground Seal I like Ground Seal a lot because my meta uses a lot of reanimation, but Deathrite Shaman is a lot more versatile.
+ Mikaeus, the Lunarch / - Selesnya Evangel Evangel is simply too slow for what she does, while Mikaeus multiplies counters like crazy.
+ Mikaeus, the Unhallowed / - Abzan Battle Priest Lifelink doesn't add too much to the deck strategy, where as undying is ridiculously powerful.
