might i suggest Graverobber Spider. Obelisk Spider and Juvenile Gloomwidow might be okayish. Gloomwidow's Feast, Renowned Weaver, and Swarmyard might also be good for this deck.

Ok, so spiders- like all tribal- changeling cards like Chameleon Colossus and Nameless Inversion are worth a look. Gloomwidow's Feast might be fun in sb. A lot of tribals try and sit very low on the curve (1-3 mana slots) but this is sitting at the bulkier end so a midrange strategy feels appropriate- Some more removal spells and some Coat of Arms could work wonders.

Tower Defense? Arachnus Spinner & Arachnus Web? Gloomwidow's Feast? Alpha Status? Steely Resolve? Cover of Darkness? Adaptive Automaton? Coat of Arms? Door of Destinies? Swarmyard? Urza's Incubator? Also seems like you will need more recurring card draw. These are all just ideas/observations.

Well you definitely have one up on him in that you are taking away his biggest advantage, flying over his opponents. However, he has the fact that birds and flying in general has been supported far longer than spiders (which still isn't really).
I like that you are being sorta cheap (a compliment I swear) and running cards like Whirlwind, Squall Line, Gloomwidow's Feast and Eaten by Spiders they will definitely come in handy.
I would cut Mantle of Webs, Spidery Grasp, Murderous Cut and Second Harvest. While on flavor, mantle and grasp don't really help you at all. Murderous cut actually HURTS your delirium numbers and you aren't running enough tokens to be able to cast harvest successfully very often.
I would replace most of these with some more self mill stuff like Grisly Salvage, Autumnal Gloom Flip or Grapple with the Past. Treasured Find is also really good here. Lastly it may be a bit pricy depending on your budget but do try and get your hands on a Swarmyard.
