Hello, my name is Sofia, thanks for visiting my profile. I only play Commander, and I love weird kindred decks such as Crabs, Jellyfish, Spiders, and more!
I'm an undergrad physics student, fluent in english and portuguese. Recently I have found a passion for learning new languages, and currently I study german and japanese. Also considering tackling italian and maybe korean later!
I play Magic: the Gathering casually with friends in real life and have been doing so since the release of Magic Origins, the set that everyone was sorta excited about at the time. My first deck was a five-color Progenitus. A true abomination of a deck, you could probably beat it with a typal of vanilla creatures. Nowdays I try my best to find the most interesting and zany deck ideas to meddle with, and my number one rule is:
Don't brew something you wouldn't want to play against: Try your best to make it such that your deck remains consistent and responsive, but never so responsive or limitating that you take the fun away from the people you care having around.
My favourite legendary creature is Alesha, Who Smiles at Death. She is trans, and so am I! Ever since I figured her out years ago, I've been taking care of a not-quite-cEDH list I made for her. It's not as strong as I would like, but if you have any suggestions to strengthen her please do make contact!
My favourite card of all time is probably this cute-ass shy worm. The whole card just seems so terrible, until you use it in the right deck. This type of card makes me smile everytime I stumble upon it.
