Pretty basic (and pretty budget) idea here, I'm aiming to be able to double cheap-instant-direct-damage spells such as Wizard's Lightning and Hungry Flamesto keep the opponents board clear, and even deal massive damage to face.

There are two(~three) ways of achieving this:

• Stage 3 of The Mirari Conjecture, which overall is a great card (useful for giving me another shot out of an Opt, Abrade, or Wizard's Lightning.

• Using Naru Meha, Master Wizard, somewhat mana intensive but this is alleviated somewhat by the crazy value of 3 damage for 1 mountain. Her effectiveness is doubled by the presence of Naban, Dean of Iteration.

• Or even a combination of the two! (There is a rare instance in which you can quadruple an instant).

Firefist Adept is useful, especially when doubled by Naban, Dean of Iteration, as you will often have 3+ cheap wizards on board at any one time.

As for disrupting your opponent, there is the fairly cheap Wizard's Retort and Merfolk Trickster for some of the nastier abilities out there (useful for delaying a large body for a turn).

I am considering spells that bounce my wizards back to hand, using Firefist Adept multiple times could be nice.
