Hello Chaps. After a long hiatus I am back to MTG. To be honest I'm not a huge fan of the current meta but I do enjoy a good brew so here's the newest deck. I hope you enjoy the description... I know I sure do.

I was playing limited, and I got to play Outland Colossus and BOOM. It was like a sign from god. This big giant, was homeless and alone and in the right hands could be something... well... HUGE. So I got to thinking, might as well let him shine, he's just waiting for the chance after all. To make that happen though I just have to clear the way and with the help of some lizards friends, consider it done.

So here's the run down:

To maintain control and not let the tides turn there has to be a lot of counters. In this deck it's Scatter to the Winds , Disdainful Stroke , and Negate . With this arsenal, our friendly Giant shouldn't have to worry much.

But what about the little guys? Won't they block? Well... they would but we like freezing and putting them to sleep... so we have that going for us which is nice. Disperse , Send to Sleep , and Icy Blast are all there, waiting to clear the way for my new best buddy!

So what do you think Outland Colossus did in the outland? He's a pretty nice guy so of corse he made lots of new friends! And yes, they all want to help.

First came Honored Hierarch he pretty much is the first friend. And honestly he comes out early, scoping the field, and if possible boosting up that ramp to bring his buddy out faster.

Along his travels, Colossus also met Den Protector . This odd fellow dreams of becoming Colossus, and who knows maybe with some Become Immense and Titanic Growth that might just happen!

The next friend he made was Deathmist Raptor , see Colossus is big, he needs to rest a lot. And Deathmist, bless his little lizard heart, just wants to protect his giant friend. So he's got defense covered.

Once he was friends with Deathmist, it wasn't long until he met more lizard friends - after all they all go to those killer lizard parties! And the next lizard he met was the tricky Bounding Krasis . This guy seemed to pop out of no-where but instantly loved Colossus and when timed correctly not only helps the big guy hit his mark but also protect him in times of need.

Now, Colossus has one more good buddy. But this buddy and Colossus sometimes butt heads, after all they both need the same mana! But luckily, Icefall Regent can't help but love Colossus just as much as his fellow lizard buddies. He freezes the hell out of anyone who tries to stop his giant friend!

But just incase things get out of hand and the squad isn't in its best form, Kiora, Master of the Depths is always willing to step in and help out.
