With the exception of Hero's Downfall, I'm trying to keep this deck fairly affordable.

-Turn 1 to 4

Use cheap target removal Bile Blight, Ultimate Price to control the field and use counters to prevent the opponent from doing anything harmful Negate, Dissolve, Silumgar's Scorn , bonus if you have a dragon in your hand for efficient countering.

Use discard spells to distrupt any upcoming plays Duress, Despise

-Turn 4-6

Save Hero's Downfall against larger creatures and planeswalkers

Blow up the field with Crux of Fate, wiping out non dragons or dragons if your opponent got ahead of you and summon them.

-Turn 6

Finish with Pearl Lake Ancient and the dragons Icefall Regent, Silumgar, the Drifting Death

Thoughseize is out of my budget...
