DrFunk27 says... #2

I saw that coming. Anything that costs 3-4 CMC and cascades. Yup. Especially UW

April 6, 2016 10:41 a.m.

Phaetion says... #3

Alright, what is going on with Archangel of Tithes? Seriously, this thing spiked to $12, and now it's $20-$25 depending on where you look. What gives?

April 6, 2016 11:47 p.m.

DrFunk27 says... #4

Phaetion It's an Angel. I think White is going to be really strong in Standard. It's also a great EDH card.

April 6, 2016 11:50 p.m.

Phaetion says... #5

For EDH, it depends on the build, I think. Triple white is never easy on mana bases, unless your W or W/X.

And what standard deck could it see play in? I know the new Avacyn will be a thing.

April 6, 2016 11:56 p.m.

DrFunk27 says... #6

Phaetion Played alongside the new Avacyn...lol It's also being played in Standard Bant and Modern Hatebears.

Judge Foil Entomb has doubled, especially according to MTGStocks.

heuertag says... #8

for Archangel of Tithes in standard i know a lot of people have been testing it out in monowhite builds that also feature Always Watching

April 8, 2016 9:18 a.m.

PreZchoICE1 says... #9

Archangel of Tithes is seeing quite a bit of interest/play lately, and a lot of it has to do with standard. Mono-white or G/W

April 8, 2016 2:56 p.m.

CChaos says... #10

Muddle the Mixture rose 8.8% today, but has been increasing dramatically since last week.

Kytheon, Hero of Akros  Flip jumped 36%. The curve could represent testing for humans in standard.

iBleedPunk says... #11

Wow! I picked up like 25 copies of Muddle the Mixture at my LGS out of a 1 penny box they had. Glad I did now. Also Archangel of Tithes sure jumped up in price, may have to get rid of my copies now

CChaos says... #12

Secure the Wastes is at it's all time high, $6.35. Just discovered it when checking out the current value for DoT.

How did no one see the spike on Thopter Foundry?

Dont know what the percentage is but its insane

April 10, 2016 9:12 p.m.

DrFunk27 says... #14

CChaos Everyone has seen it. It was so obvious it's not really worth posting. Same with Sword of the Meek. Picked mine up for $.25 at FNM before the unban.

April 10, 2016 9:13 p.m. Edited.

CChaos says... #15

I just realised. Guess i wasnt paying much attention.

April 10, 2016 9:14 p.m.

DrFunk27 says... #16

CChaos Wasn't trying to come across as a dick. Just being honest. Everyone has been posting about it on T/O since Monday but yeah, the spike is real. Don't see it below $10 either. One set print? with a very small Commander print? Yeah, not going below $10.

April 10, 2016 9:16 p.m.

Tireless Tracker (now roughly $6) and Pyromancer's Goggles ($12.94) have both spiked.

April 10, 2016 9:49 p.m.

brokendwarf says... #18

Why Goggles?

April 10, 2016 9:57 p.m.

addaff says... #19

R/G ramp & burn?

April 10, 2016 9:58 p.m.

Todd Anderson had a sweet u/r deck that used them.

April 10, 2016 9:59 p.m.

Goggles was in Todd Anderson's 4th place U/R Control deck at SCG Baltimore.

April 10, 2016 9:59 p.m.

GoldGhost012 says... #22

Apparently copying Fall of the Titans is really good.

April 10, 2016 10 p.m.

Hah that makes me super happy I got my Goggles when they were $2. Not even wanting to trade them now; it's in my Grixis shenanigans EDH deck.

April 11, 2016 1 a.m.

Kytheon, Hero of Akros  Flip is up to $14.99, Secure the Wastes is now $10.55, and Archangel of Tithes is at $22.77.

Nemesis says... #25

Yikes. What is happening with Secure the Wastes, why did that card shoot up like that?

April 11, 2016 11:45 a.m.

lemmingllama says... #26

@Nemesis It's one of the best ways to turn on Westvale Abbey  Flip. Also, it's an instant speed wincon for B/W Control decks

April 11, 2016 12:06 p.m.

Slowgod says... #27

Man I'm glad I foresaw the rise of Kytheon and friends and bought 2 regular copies of him for 5$, and a pack and promo foil for 10$ a week ago :) pre-ordered a Westvale Abbey  Flip for 3$ and opened another. I also got a playset of Tireless Tracker for 5$ haha. I kind of misjudged the zombies though and traded high for Relentless Dead but oh well.

April 11, 2016 4:25 p.m.

CChaos says... #28

Cards that are spiking:

Knight of the White Orchid (Origins), $3.79.

Krark-Clan Ironworks, $5.19.

Mayor of Avabruck  Flip, $4.79.

April 12, 2016 7:36 a.m.

Archangel Avacyn  Flip is spiking hard. Sold one on TCG 2 days ago for $28. Low is currently $46 with mid at $50.

April 12, 2016 1:24 p.m.

Unforgivn_II says... #30

Avacyn is on the way down. She was at 55 last night and plenty of places are selling around 40 right now. If you want to get out, get out now. Or wait til a GP and she may spike again

April 12, 2016 5:46 p.m.

GreenGhost says... #31

Declaration in Stone has crept from $5 to over $10 this week. I'm pleased that I've held on to mine.

April 12, 2016 6:37 p.m.

Yeah, I traded mine away when they were $5. Not super happy

Ensnaring Bridge seems like it is slowly going down in price. Its not a quick drop but it is noticeable.

April 13, 2016 11:29 p.m.

DrFunk27 says... #35

sirbar How so? Mid hasn't moved at all. Maybe the low, but it seems very slow and most of the Thopter decks are playing it. I see it hitting $60 soon.

April 13, 2016 11:30 p.m.

sirbar says... #36

DrFunk27 It has lost about $5 since its spike at TCG mid. Source. I said slowly. I know it is not a lot but it is progress. I also don't know of a thopter deck that is running bridge besides lantern control. I haven't seen a tezzeret deck running it in anywhere besides the sideboard. And between the 3 different editions on tcg i see about 200 copies available.

April 13, 2016 11:42 p.m.

DrFunk27 says... #37

sirbar Gifts Foundry plays 1, granted it may not keep it's price, but I've seen it in testing articles too. The fact that you can hide behind it attacking with all your 1/1s ridiculous. I don't see it going below $40.

April 13, 2016 11:45 p.m.

CChaos says... #38

Brindle Shoat just jumped 93.3%, putting it at $9.26.

mtgstocks.com

Is it being played or is it some random buyout?

April 18, 2016 4:41 a.m.

seuvius says... #39

What a weird card to jump in price like that.

April 18, 2016 5:01 a.m.

Bovine073 says... #40

Well I mean, sure it's a strictly better Sultai Emissary, but not much outside of there.

I would assume a buyout.

April 18, 2016 5:07 a.m.

iBleedPunk says... #41

Could have something to do with Westvale Abbey  Flip maybe? I mean the synergy is there

April 18, 2016 5:08 a.m.

seuvius says... #42

Pokemaster325 where is the synergy with abbey? You only get one card to sac, it doesn't really synergize at all. Also brindleshoat isn't legal in modern.

April 18, 2016 5:18 a.m.

iBleedPunk says... #43

Don't get your panties in a twist seuvius just baseless speculation lol

April 18, 2016 5:28 a.m.

seuvius says... #44

I know lol not being uptight, just genuinely curious.

April 18, 2016 5:41 a.m.

PreZchoICE1 says... #45

Shoat is really good in value based EDH sac decks such as Meren.

April 18, 2016 12:18 p.m.

PreZchoICE1 says... #46

Its also only ever seen print in Planechase, which is going to make it that much more of an in demand card.

April 18, 2016 12:20 p.m.

Mackman99 says... #47

Gifts Ungiven has almost doubled thanks to it being combined with the thopter sword combo TCGPlayer

April 18, 2016 12:43 p.m.

sylvannos says... #48

My guess on Brindle Shoat is that it was only printed on paper in Planechase 2012. The card is definitely good, but moreso for Pauper. However, it was uncommon on paper and only printed as a common on MODO.

It could be speculation for Eternal Masters and people are hoping for a common reprint. Stompy has been doing really well since the banning of Cloud of Faeries. Eternal Masters might just boost the popularity of Pauper on paper.

April 18, 2016 5:29 p.m.

smackjack says... #49

Why are Wheel of Sun and Moon now $42?

April 21, 2016 1:28 p.m.

GoldGhost012 says... #50

Because there are 5 available, none of them foils. Check SCG.
