Trying to create the best mono black edh land base. This is what I came up with:

1x Ancient Tomb

1x Bojuka Bog

1x Cabal Coffers

1x Eye of Ugin

1x High Market

1x Lake of the Dead

1x Mikokoro, Center of the Sea

1x Miren, the Moaning Well

1x Myriad Landscape

1x Phyrexian Tower

1x Strip Mine

24x Swamp

1x Thespian's Stage

1x Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth

My mono black decks always run both Crucible of Worlds and Kozilek, Butcher of Truth so that explains why Eye of Ugin, Strip Mine and Lake of the Dead are auto included.

For reference, the deck in question is Calliphora's Feeding

Tectonic Edge can be another land destruction

are they worth it though? Do I really want to go to 22 swamps. Both Lake of the Dead and Cabal Coffers need swamps, specifically and they produce a lot of mana if used correctly.

That's your call but if your worried about not having enough basics, you should cut Miren, the Moaning Well since you don't have many high toughness creatures. It's just a pricey sac outlet.

Fair enough. The landbase is also what I use in Lili's Revelation

the Liliana deck seems pretty good, when does she come out?

Literally no idea. I built it three days after she was spoiled.

Actually that's a lie. I think she comes out mid June or July. Whenever magic origins decides to exist.

That makes it sound like I don't work on it. I play it almost daily(its the deck I own IRL).

Yea when I first saw her, I fell in love. Hopefully she doesn't cost too much to add to my edh deck

Well, if you have enough in the costs of your permanents, Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx is a good consideration. If you have a creature based strategy, Hall of the Bandit Lord is awesome. Lots of creatures in the graveyard makes Crypt of Agadeem pretty good at ramping you.

You asked for the best, so I'm disregarding possible budget limitations.

If you use Crucible of Worlds, then I think you should also run fetchlands.

Also Volrath's Stronghold works in almost any deck that runs black. Considering you have tons of creatures in your deck, I'm surprised this card isn't on your original list, unless your budget limits it.

Another staple card in EDH along with Strip Mine is Wasteland. It works great with mono-colored decks as they don't have to worry about having different colors accessible. Also the synergy with Crucible of Worlds is very good.

I would not run Myriad Landscape. It is extremely slow and mana-heavy. I would rather use artifact-based ramp and replace it with a better land.

Lake of the Dead seems to risky, even with Crucible of Worlds in the deck. Using it only loses you more consistent mana production, and it surpasses your opponents only for few turns.

Cavern of Souls could also be a thing, depending how your deck plays. Seems like it is extremely creature-heavy, so I think it could be quite valuable.
