Went 2-1 at FNM (late entry). Lost round 1 to Kibler's R/G aggro list. Match 1 Game 1: His starting hand was 3x {{stomping ground}}, 3x {{thundermaw Hellkite}} and 1x {{Domri Rade}}. He drew into 2x {{flinthoof boar}} and my draw was too slow.

Game 2 I got manascrewed. Learned my lesson of keeping 2 lands on the play.

Match 2 I played against a R/B bubbling cauldron/bogbrew witch/festering newt deck with recurring creatures to power barrage of expendables. Not much to say here, {{Detention Sphere}} dealt with threats nicely and it was a matter of time til {{aetherling}} dropped.

Match 3 I played against a G/W hexproof deck that was the motivation for my version ({{deck:gw-hexproof-31-08-13-2/}}). Here is where {{Supreme Verdict}} really shines. Game 1 I didn't have the verdict in hand. I managed to counter his turn 3 {{Witchstalker}}, and when he found a {{Gladecover scout}} to begin enchanting I had the {{jace, architect of thought}} to find the {{supreme verdict}}. I eventually drew into {{Aetherling}} after a big {{Sphinx's Revelation}} and closed it out. Game 2 He managed to get out two {{witchstalker}} and start attacking. I was all the way down to 8 when I found the {{Supreme Verdict}}. After that I managed to counter threats long enough to play {{Assemble the legion}}. Chump blockers stalled until another {{Supreme Verdict}} and tokens took over the board.

I think I need to prepare for R/G aggro, as I knew it was my worst match up going in. Haste and {{Burning Earth}} are both very hard to deal with. Any help with this match up would be appreciated. Is it just unwinnable? Any opinions on some blind obedience's in the sideboard to deal with haste slightly better, or is that just too slow?

Excited to play again on monday, although I may try out my version of Josh Utter-Leyton's Pro Tour Dragon's Maze Boros Deck ({{deck:boros-aggro-31-08-13-1/}}).
