My take on the emerging G/W tribal cat deck in HOU standard.

The basic strategy of the deck is relatively simple:

Go wide by creating a metric s##t-ton of tokens (your "pride") using Anointed Procession + token generation through:

Buff the pride using:

  • Metallic Mimic to give all cats +1/+1 counters on entry
  • Regal Caracal to give all cats an additional +1/+1 and lifelink

Survive until your pride is established using

Swarm in for the adorably cute kill

The deck also runs 2 Westvale Abbey   as an additional win condition, just in case the pride needs a little bit of an extra flying indestructible hand ;)

Also considering running the Cryptolith Rite + Zendikar Resurgent strategy found in Murphy77's Kittens Play as well as potentially a Second Harvest or Nissa, Voice of Zendikar in the mainboard
