With Fate Reforged not providing a great deal for my Titan Towers deck, plus the amazing financial support offered by the new clash pack, Phytotitan control is going BUG! The change is also because it improves on some of the fundamentals of the original Phytotitan control list, while retaining the key elements that made it earn its own cult.

Phytotitan is obviously MVP here, being the Intro Pack rare that never dies. However, some more creatures join the team: a third Sylvan Caryatid, three Courser of Kruphix and three each of Reaper of the Wilds and Rakshasa Deathdealer. These creatures, while mana-hungry, do keep the opponent firing off removal spells while Phytotitan prepares backstage. Bearer of the Heavens is still entirely possible despite the colour change out of red, thanks to Frontier Bivouac and Sylvan Caryatid. It's also a lot easier to set off, thanks to the kill spells in the deck such as Murderous Cut.

The noncreature suite has less reach to it thanks to the lack of burn, but now has full-on killspells to deal wth the bad Abzan matchups versus the likes of Siege Rhino and Polukranos, World Eater. Hero's Downfall finally offers removal for plansewalkers, while Murderous Cut and Disdainful Stroke attempt to also prevent nasty walkers and creatures from sticking around. Life's Legacy is still an ace here, and arguably better now the deck has more creatures with the capability to exceed two power.

The sideboard is also improved. Fleefeather Cockatrice is still great against huge and/or flying threats, while AEtherspouts has shifted into the sideboard for token matchups. Death Frenzy is a vast improvement over Anger of the Gods and stays in the board for similar reasons. Negate is Negate, and Back to Nature messes with Jeskai combo and enchantment-heavy decks.
