Yearly inspection —April 22, 2020

I just noticed my last update was last year (from the description, not the Update function on this website).

Added Ghost Quarter, Realm-Cloaked Giantfoil, Talisman of Conviction, Tome of Legends, Cleansing Nova, Crush Contraband, Generous Gift, Smothering Tithe, Tenza, Godo's Maul, Geier Reach Sanitarium, and Myriad Landscape

If you're still having trouble with card draw, I would recommend either the Howling Mine + Inspiring Statuary wombo-combo or Wheel of Fate if you can't afford Wheel of Fortune

I would also recommend Boros Charm and Leave / Chance because Wrath of God type effects are RW's mortal enemy.

Also, Return to Dust is a much better option than Dust to Dust

All things I know, thank you--other than Leave / Chance. Good idea!

So far card-draw is not so bad. Having a high average CMC due to the (intentionally underpowered) theme helps slightly! Wheel of Fortune has skyrocketed in the last few months so I think the one I have will be the last :/ Wheel of Fate, while not expensive expensive is still more than I'd like to spend on a single card for one of my tertiary and intentionally-budgeted decks.

My FLGS is usually cleaned out of Return to Dusts and I have several Dust to Dusts so it's that and the budget concerns keeping it out. I'm well aware it's better! Many of my other decks have it. Perhaps with it's reprint in Commander 2017 there are more... I should stock up!

Hi Optimator,

Very glad to find a fellow Kalemne-player with a similar idea for the deck! I've been using mine for a few years and it's been a blast. In case you're interested, you can find it here: Kalemne's Giant Clan. I hope you can use my list as a source of inspiration.

Happy brewing and playing!

I really like this brew, keep doing what your doing with it because it looks like it's a lot of fun to play and adds an interesting flavor to the table. You don't see enough Kalemne love. +1

The Kalemne precon was my first deck ever. Sadly I stopped playing it once I discovered green and how op land ramping is in casual games. Anyways +1 from me. If yo get a chance check out my Omnath deck.
