Pauper Pestilence

Idea: Hold the board clear with Pestilence and slowly reduce the life total for a painfully slow black death or finish them off with the Ill-Gotten Inheritance shoot.

Combo: Guardian of the Guildpact + Pestilence The Guardian is staying on the battlefield beacuse of Protection from Monocolored. So Pestilence will stay on the board to do as much damage as possible. Pestilence + Wall of Hope equalize the self damage.

How to protect this combo: Disrupt the opponents hand with Castigate and Duress. Control the early board with Disfigure, Cast Down and Unmake.

How to survive the Pestilence: Scoured Barrens, Radiant Fountain, Pristine Talisman, Ill-Gotten Inheritance and Revitalize should get you enough life, to survive the death triggers.
